I went here for a good lasagna, but was disappointed. Seemed like it was just thrown together. Too much sauce in the wrong places than where it should be.
Better than ever , been over 35 years since I had their pizza and it did NOT let me down , my mom was a waitress there 35 years ago and I helped buss tables after school, I ended up connecting with the owner and my mom and I stopped in and we spent 4 hours talking about all the kids grand kids and great grand kids also the great times working there , it was a huge family , DeRango family and the food was better than ever !! So was the prices ! our pizza was not that much more than it was 35 years ago tasted even better and 2 sodas ! We had a great time and now that I moved back to Racine Co. We're going to stop more often , plenty to catch up on !! Robert D. Your the best dude !!
I used to live in Racine with my parents but moved 300 miles away in '77. This DeRangos is the only one my family has ever gone to. Stopped in last week while in Racine and was sad to see that the dining room was closed due to no staff. But the owner was nice enough to let my adult kids and I eat at the bar. The party pizza hasn't changed! Just as wonderful as always. The owner is a nice man never had an issue unlike someone else that gave a review. I hope they never go out of business. Love this place!
Food is overall decent, it's gone downhill and they seem to not care anymore. The primary reason for my two stars is that the owners have the personality of a rattle snake. It's uncomfortable to call and place orders and it's uncomfortable to pick your food up because you have to deal with attitude from the owner guy behind the counter. You can't be in the restaurant business, serving the community, while having a personality like that. Just doesn't work that way.
Used to love DeRangos but something's changed. Last two pizzas I've ordered have NO flavor. Ordered an 18' with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and onions and everyone agreed it's flavorless. Lots of pizza to choose from and you have to do better on quality.
I love DeRangos. You can't go wrong there. It's a staple of Racine and has been around for years. Try anything and it'll be good.

I will always order from this DeRangos location!!This past weekend we ordered from them twice, on Friday night and Saturday night.Friday night we had a small get together and ordered the family chicken dinner which came with more chicken then we could finish fries and Italian bread, which by the way was ready in less than a half hour for carryout. We were expecting to wait at least an hour since it was a Friday night but we’re pleasantly surprised when the gentleman who took our order told us the wait was only 20 minutes! When I went to pick up my order, the young woman at the pick up window was very accommodating when I asked to add on a bucket of fried fish to our order which was amazing. Everything was hot and fresh.Saturday night we had another get together and placed an order through GrubHub for DeRango‘s pizza. We ended up ordering five large thin crust pizzas and we had no leftovers!! The crust was thin and crispy and they were very generous with the toppings.Overall, great good and great customer service.
Chicken Marsala looked like it was cooked in a microwave. No where near worth $14
