I wish I photographed our sandwiches. Sandwiches made to order and really good. Friendly personnel. I ordered the Little Italy. Sliced thin meat and cheese, so delicious! And dresses it with just the right amount of condiments. My go to for sandwiches

Great place for submarine sandwiches just N of Racine and a couple blocks from the beach. Easy to pick up fresh-made deli sandwiches for a beach trip, picnic, or just swing by and eat at the few tables they have. 10 choices of subs with various options of vegetables and condiments. Many drink choices from a cooler. Made to order fresh, inexpensive, and friendly.

I enjoy the place but its been shut down...
I was in Captain John’s for the first time two days ago. I’m doing Keto and John offered to make a Reuben wrapped in lettuce. The sandwich was great and the service was fantastic. John has even stepped forward to help the community, basically a fellow restaurant, by offering some sandwiches as part of the Venmo Challenge Racine project. I’ll be back.
