A group of us Were starving, and came in at the end of dinning hrs. The Staff took great care of us, fed us and made us feel at home, Even though it was our first visit! We will be back for sure!
I haven't been there since it was peg and Lou's but let me tell you that is an awesome amazing remake food is great great prices for drinks just a great place overall

Great selection of beer and a nice assortment of specialty cocktails. We stopped in on a weeknight and service was slow. One bartender on duty handling a couple of tables. Will stop back once things are a little more back to normal.
Wow, seriously wow. Got take out, very nice interior! Food was absolutely phenomenal, the burger was perfect and those waffle fries are DELICIOUS! Excellent food, will be back
20 min for carryout is not 35 min once I get there "because a big chicken order came in". Not to mention who cooks chicken and seafood in the same oil??? Bartender almost seemed indignant that I didn't want to wait. Won't be back.
Party of 6 on a Tuesday night. We called ahead, got seated immediately, a slow night for them but we wanted to make sure there was a cook on board because it was nearly 7pm. No problem getting a table but don't try 7pm on a Friday night! The fish fry is well worth waiting for through. We had a sweet server who got our drinks and orders in short order. We had a wide variety and everything was very good. The Beacon is an old Racine establishment, recently remodeled from front to back and top to bottom and worth the wait of the remodel! You did a great job Danny! Yes he's back!With daily specials on the menu and at the bar. If you're bored on a Sunday stop in and try their Chicken...Yum!
Always consistent with the food. Tastes good and they have some different options to typical pub food. Right now they even have some seafood options for Lent. We’ve had takeout and was good too besides they forgot the ketchup. Not sure why other reviewers complain so much.
