Every singe time I have came to varsity club, for the last 3 years. Had some drinks tonight, and every time. Adam made sure my refill was ready right away, absolutely amazing!
Man, this place always does the trick for me! I love coming here and visiting Adam!!!! He’s legit the best, most friendly, most professional and personable bartender in this place. He makes it fun, he remembers all his patrons and I cannot give him enough credit. He’s legit the best and he makes my day. I drive from milwaukee to varsity to get the home aspect of a bar and Adam delivers. I literally will not go anywhere else when I am in town. Shout out to you Adam because bartenders make or break a place and you DEFINITELY make this place. Keep being and doing you!! Can’t wait to come back!!
Philly cheese steak is the best for the price. We did miss our chocolate chip cookies (they were out) but great just the same!
Love all the staff and always have a good time except when the woman Amanda (bartender) is working. She lets her attitude get the best of her sometimes. Witnessed her tell another bartender that “maybe if you cleaned it wouldn’t splash on you when you set drinks down at the bar” in the most condescending tone. Someone complained to staff while I was there that she sold them two shots of Pepsi when they ordered cherry bombs. Never friendly towards women but she LOVES my guy friends. Ladies do yourself a favor and request Adam or Drew!
Food was bad. Half a chicken sandwich for $8. Service was worse. Incredibly unfriendly staff. Got chastised for asking when my food was coming after waiting 45 minutes. Won't be returning. Another place that fell hard.
Great pool hall, and good drinks. There is hot food as well.They also have darts, basketball throwing, ping pong and karaoke on Thursday's. I love to come here with my friends and rent the table by the hour.This bar is usually filled with college students on the weekends.
Highly recommended for pool players. Outside is non-descript, but this is a great place for pool and a drink. Upscale pool area was well-thought-out for pool players. Diamond tables were well-maintained, and house cues were first-rate. Bar area and booths are nice. We came just after lunch time, all the way from Peoria, IL, to play.The bartender was great and got us started playing pool. Bartender had a lot of ground to cover but made a good effort. We didnt eat but heard the bacon cheeseburger was best.Gotta check it out!
Good wings and decent drinks and prices. The only downfall for me is the atmosphere or crowed.... Alot of country music but if that's what u into then it would be good
Great place to play pool; which is free, as well as your drinks, on your birthday! Karaoke is a blast when Renegade Renee's ever brave shows up. Lots of different tap beers and decent food. Can't go wrong going here.
Honestly, one of the best fish fries around. Fri. In house, $6. Lots of room, great drink prices. Definitely 2 thumbs-up
