Well well well, we meet again, Mikes Place. Made the trip here last Tuesday for a nice dinner, have always had good luck at Mikes. Upon enterance, I locked eyes with him. He was there. The curly headed heavy set teen (I’m no chubby chaser but I would certainly do a little run for this one). I grabbed a seat where I could watch into the kitchen and see this magnificent creature in his natural habitat. As I peered into the kitchen, this young man was putting in quite the show. He was flipping burger pattys with his toes and juggling jalapeño poppers with his eyes closed. I couldn’t look away for the life of me. I’ve dreamed of this young man since the second is stepped out of mikes the last time, I just had to see this wonderful beast one more time. As I watched him work, so effortlessly, we locked eyes. He stared deep into my soul, it felt as if he was in me, and I couldn’t look away. I felt a jolt surge through my body and I collapsed onto the ground. Food was great!
Intrigued by positive reviews, I made my first visit to Michaels this evening - and my last. I wish I could comment on the comment on the quality of the food, because I sure was hungry, but I can only comment on the quality of the service - awful. If you decide to chance a visit, I hope your experience is less disappointing than mine.
Well asked for sodas the cups they came in smelled like pure bleach, so we asked for new brought new one out smelled just as bad. Asked again same finally the cook or whom ever in kitchen said give her a can of soda and plastic cup. Well order came out fries were yuck tasted funny. Cottage cheese for baby tasted sour, the sandwich was good, I was drinking coffee kept waiting for another cup they just stood and were talking about how rude we were. So my mom yells excuse me please and the finally got me coffee. I would not recommend the place to no one the bathrooms were even gross doing go by the pictures of there ads...?????
Best experience ever today here from service to food best in oshkosh! i felt so welcomed to be in this restaurant! Thank you mike for the soup too we never had better than your chicken dumpling soup!
First time trying this place after hearing alot about it, small business owner, decently sized restaurant. For a family of 4 we averaged about 25-30 bucks which is a hect of alot cheaper than other places. The atmosphere was very friendly and family oriented, the food was amazing, almost as good as a home cooked meal. Extremely friendly staff even saw the manager or owner bussing table which is nearly unheard of. Defiantly will be returning and bringing others with. Keep up the good work Mike's Place.
Food was great! We had a wonderful, attentive waitress, and because there was a mix up with an order and our food took longer to serve than usual they didn't charge us! How nice!
Food was great! Portion sizes great for the price. Our waitress could have been a little more attending we had to ask for coffee. Then she pushed us onto another server to serve coffee.
Don't waste your time and money. TerribleWe picked it up, and They forgot the coleslaw and tarter sauce. I called and they said we could pick it upSo after they screwed up our order and we are suppose to spend more money (gas) to get what they did. Nooooo way
Mike's Place is top notch service and food. Excellent exceptional restaurant experience. Fast, friendly, clean; all more of a reason to return here. The food is hot and fresh. The prices are very affordable. Breakfast items are prepared and delivered to your table within minutes, no waiting for it. The staff are very friendly, coffee can be refilled as someone is walking around and asking all seated customers throughout the dining room. Very child friendly. Five stars for a very above and beyond service. You will not forget this place after visiting. Don't forget to bring friends and family members here!
