We stopped in for Sunday brunch. We had Gabe's benedict and hangover hashbrowns. They were good, particularly the eggs benedict with pot roast. I would have appreciated a warning that the hasbrowns were closer to french fries than hash browns, but that didn't make them inedible. We also ordered an extra biscuit, as I wanted to try their biscuits. It had a good flavor, but it was tougher than I expected as though it was made with northern hard wheat rather than the soft southern wheat that southern biscuits are generally made with. If this was a temporary supply issue you may have a different experience.
I don't know how long our food was sitting but the coleslaw was sour. Fish was greasy and we did not get 46.36 dollars worth. We will never eat there again. Can't believe the owner or the cook would let something like this go out the door.Terrible

Basically ordering a big plate of salt. The food was basically inedible. The nachos were a joke. Who has ever heard of nachos with cheese on about 2 of the chips only? Then the meat was so salty it was unbearable. Wish I could get a refund because that was awful. I feel like I need a cholesterol exam after eating from this place tonight. Definitely don't bother
Fantastic brunch! Delightful breakfast burrito (a little more sweet than savory). Hash is amazing. Bluegill was cooked well also. Beverages were perfectly balanced.
So happy they listened and added more keto options! The lettuce cups with loaded chicken salad is an awesome app and yesterday had the cauliflower risotto - hoping that becomes a staple on the menu for a side, delish!
Not impressed. We were seated right away by a friendly and personable hostess. It took a little time for our waitress to get to our table (not busy at all. 5 tables and we were table 6). We started to make a drink order and for no apparent reason the waitress walked away. She came back, I ordered a bourbon old fashioned and an appetizer and the waitress again sped off without taking the rest of our order. She brought back my old fashioned, which was WAY over poured. The jalapeño crisps were delicious. My wife had the nachos for her meal. They were flat, no salt on the chips, little to no cheese, not served with sour cream and the chicken lacked flavor. The beef on the nachos was good, but didn't make up for the other short comings. The prime rib was ordered medium rare and while it had good flavor, it was served between medium and medium well. The "twice baked" potato was essentially a stuffed baked potato and left me disappointed that there was more baked potato than filling. At the end of the meal, we were charged a credit card fee, so rather than paying cash as planned, we put it on the card, if we have to pay the fee, we may as well use it!We will definitely not be back. Sorry Gabe's, this was not a good first dinner impression.
We had our order taken, got our drinks, and then it was downhill from there. We waited a long time for our food. A table of 6 and 2 tables of 2 came in after us and got their food long before we did. When we finally got our food, I noticed my potato pancakes were burnt and rubbery. I sent them back. After a long while, the waitress brought out 2 more burnt pancakes, the were not edible. $25 is a lot of money for one walleye filet, but on the bill I was charged $26. , ,when asked about the discrepancy, the waitress went somewhere to 'ask her boss', then reappeared with the bill $1. less. No explanation. Looking at my receipt, I wonder what cc handling is, I was charged $1.19 for that also. ? Won't be back.
Hubs and I stopped in for a burger. Since we were asked how you want that cooked we said medium, it came well done. The burger comes plain and I mean Plain, no lettuce no tomatoe, no pickle nothing, not even mustard or ketchup and sitting on a cold toasted bun. The fries were cold and floppy. When asked if we could get lettuce and tomato the waitress was nice and brought us some at an extra cost. But we ordered the carrot cheese cake and it was VERY good . Staff was friendly, atmosphere nice. but the food not so much. Will we be back? probably not.
Good food, Good Service, Good Drinks love this place.
