Awesome staff!! Great food, & drinks!
Food was delicious. Service was great.
Had the Friday two piece haddock special for about $15. The food was delicious but service was a little lacking. I had to find a waitress to request silverware after my meal came out as it wasn't provided before or with my meal. I also had to go to the bar to get my water refilled as they wasn't too observant and I didn't feel like waiting any longer. My food tasted excellent so I will call it a 5* win.
The service was good. We had a decent and polite waitress who was obviously doing her best while low staffed. The food was however subpar. Zero flavor to be honest. Had the prime rib sandwich. No salt. No flavor. The best part of it was unfortunately the bread. Which did taste fresh. It should not have been the highlight of the meal however. I would say the prices reflect the quality. I entered a very dated atmosphere hoping the food would save the experience. But I was left wanting. I don’t think I’ll go back unless I’m trying to find a easy place to bring my nana.
Went here more or less for nostalgic reasons. I had not been to a Fryer Tucks in 25 years, and, well...I don't need to go back for another 25... Food was bland, some of the fried cauliflower on the appetizer platter were still frozen, the potato wedges had zero seasoning. Sandwiches were plates with half a stalk of celery and one crinkle cut carrot stick.
Fond du Lac location temporarily closed for staffing issues so we drove to Oshkosh. Good as usual.
Went to friar Tuck‘s I Remember it being better. We was the only one inside and couldn’t get the drinks filled. We came in about 8pm and it felt like they didn’t want to seat us and the waitress didn’t come over to us but to drop off the check not the service I remembered won’t be coming back!
Had the Friday fish special. Fish was good but I was disappointed that I ordered the double and probably didn't have as much fish as my friend who ordered the single. Save the money and get the single.
Manager came out and decided he should have customers make room for his fan club. He complained about everything. Enjoyed it before manager was as rude as could be. Won't go there again.
Ran out of fish. Tough steak. Mixed my steak up with another person at my table. All you get is sorry about that. Not impressed.
