This is our second try at this restaurant.Our first was May 29 when the dining room was full and service was very slow. We had grandkids then and our server was busy. The food was okay on this visit.Today, Saturday we arrived at 9:43 AM we did not receive water service for ten minutes and then, after our server took a stroll around the half full dining room with coffee, she come back for our order.There were three or four servers and a full cook staff.My sweet potato pancakes were burnt black by the time they arrived.My husbands pancake breakfast was cold.My daughters classic breakfast was cold.Our friends eggs Benedict was Luke warm and tasteless.All In all, as a former server I believe in fair wage for service workers, so I left a good tip. Not for good service, rather in hopes she will do better.We will not be back. Twice is quite enough.

Must be under new ownership or something. Hadn't been there in many years due to too many bad experiences. We had noticed that it seemed more busy than usual on the weekends, so we decided to give it another try. We weren't disappointed this time. Our breakfasts were all good and the service was great. Will definitely be going again in the near future. We hope they keep it up this time. It's nice having a place to go for breakfast on the weekends within walking distance.
I had thicken dumpling soup and a salad. It was tasty and inexpensive. Waitress was friendly. I was served quick but she was the only one there and trying to clean before closing busy. It was a clean restaurant for sure. Most customers seemed like regulars and it was cozy.
I was very disappointed with my food and my friends food. The Omelette I ordered was so thin and flat, not fluffy at all. My friends order was just not up to par especially having another friend of mine recommend this place. I will never eat there again.
The service was slightly below average. Seemed like I was always waiting for them to get done with something before being able to sit me, take my order, or let me pay. They had only a couple other patrons.The food was not good. The pork I ordered had so many tendons in it I could not chew it and had to spit out one out of every few bites.
This use to be my favorite place to go, but the quality has gone down.The chopped onions and green peppers in my breakfast burrito are always next to raw, and my burger was served with a tiny, dilapidated bun last time I ordered.The coffee is always too bitter as well.I ordered a coffee the other morning and the manager gave me a dirty look, as if I didn't order enough to be worthy to serve.I won't be coming here as often.
I am what you call a regular here, their food is very good and at good prices. I have always been a huge fan of small mom and pop style restaurants. I am also a big fan of their New York strip steak, always has very good flavor with good seasoning.
