Very good food! Had the breaded mushrooms and they were greasy and had a good flavor. My son had a double cheeseburger and root beer. Much better than the national chains at a better price! Bonus: view of Lake Winnebago! Worth the trip. Just remember: it's a busy place and food is made fresh and to order, so there may be a little bit of wait time.

The best root beer I’ve ever had! My dad used to stop after work in the summer to pick up an ice cold gallon when I was a kid. I will always have great memories as I carry on the tradition!
Looking for a new spot to eat. While in Oshkosh found Ardy & Ed’s! Had a Bacon Cheese Burger and Hubby had An Italian Chicken sandwich. Both were good and loved the Cut fries with flavored sour cream! Knew it used to be an A&W, plenty of pictures to confirm so wasn’t expecting 3 star restaurant. Felt bad when server/skater took a spill!
Went last night. The waitress skated around our vehicle and went to others who got there after us. (I don't blame her as she seemed to be the only one there taking orders) Between that and waiting for food it took an hour. We ordered a coney dog, Chicago dog, reg fry, black cow, and a root beer float. Food was subpar and disappointing. The floats barely had any soda in them. I heard such good things but this was a let down.
Recently moved to the area and decided to try this place because one of my favorite burger places has a similar atmosphere. I was actually pretty excited to have one close to home. It was last year around Halloween, I believe they were soon to be shut down for the winter as it is a seasonal car hop. We received our food in a timely fashion, the server was very informative about the menu and all went to plan for the ordering aspect. Food on the other hand was not very good as it gave me food poisoning. I was to go to a Halloween party and instead I spent the night hugging the toilet and my stomach. Pains were pretty intense. Enough to put the fear of this restaurants food in me. Hopefully it was just a random act and nobody else got sick.

Do not come here if you are hungry. It's restaurant pricing for fast food that comes out after minimum of a half hour after you order. 1 star is really too much. The locals love this place for the nostalgia, not the food or service.
Fantastic drive in, carhops are always pleasant and impressively on skates most of the time. Great food, I’m glad it has survived and stuck around.
