Anniversary
I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Bartender Brian is cheerful, smart and very knowledgeable about Italian wine and food. He seemed to be having as much fun as we were!
Zarletti is a Milwaukee treasure. There are few restaurants in the metro area that can compete with the food and service you get at this establishment. I was there with six people and we were treated like royalty by Anna, our server from the minute we walked in the door until we left. She is one of the best servers I've encountered anywhere. She is an expert on the menu and wine list. She was terrific at explaining every dish on the menu and most importantly, she brought our food and took our dishes with a minimum of interruption. And the food she brought us was superb. On the Thursday night we were there, they had a special of day menu along with their regular menu. Everything from the appetizers we started with to the desserts we enjoyed at the end of the night was presented beautifully. Half the group I was with were there for the first time while the other half had been at the restaurant before. Everyone remarked about how each dish had flavor combinations that were beyond words. As one of my companions put it, "It's almost like they turbo-charged the ragu. It's just better than any I've eaten before." All of our meals could be described in that manner. The service, the food, and the atmosphere are right on target for a terrific evening. Zarletti's is where I go for an experience my friends and I will remember.
One of the best Italian meals ever. Sat at bar with incredible server who shared heâs also responsible for selecting all the wine they serve. He gave us excellent recommendations for both wine and food. All was exceptional.
Excellent food and service. We were there on a Tuesday night and even though it was busy the noise level was low so we could have a conversation.
Excellent and just a short walk from our hotel. Great service, everyone pitches in. Definitely make reservations. And definitely try the house made limoncello.
Delicious dinner, l nice setting, was a bit noisy at prime time.
