Best brunch in riverwest. Great waitstaff and consistently quality food. Prices are good and I love their hash. I love the workaround of getting 'takeout' and eating with my dog in the adjacent art bar.
Really good food! I am excited to try more on the menu. The service was a little slow but I believe there was a neighborhood event going on at the time so it was understandable. We will be back!
Strange name for a restaurant and it catches you off guard as you are not sure what to expect. Has a kitchen/modern diner feel. The food was FANTASTIC for just be a regular casual sit down restaurant. Very unique menu. I loved the pickled vegetables and how fresh they were, the handmade and homemade onion rings. The stone fruit cobbler and peach pie were something special. Excellent and glad I stopped by for a try.
My family went here for the first time today, what a great find!! Great food and service, I had the best Rueben I’ve ever had….very impressed!

Okay I’ve never reviewed anything online but I had to share this with the people… I’ve had wonderland several times because I live close. Each somehow worse than the last? This time I ordered a breakfast sammy and added sausage because it sounded boring without it and hash browns. My thought was, “how could you mess up a breakfast sandwich? I would make one myself but I didn't have the ingredients or the drive to do it at home. Anyway, the pictures tell you a lot but I will tell you more. I opened the hash browns and thought “wtf is this” and when I tasted it that thought came back into my mind. I honestly didn’t know potatoes could look and taste like that (under salted, burnt, and had something mysterious in them…I think?) Next the breakfast sandwich was opened and I was shocked. There was enough egg for two sandwiches, again under seasoned (the picture with the eggs is how much was left after I ate the sandwich). The biscuit was dry and crumbled as I ate. I added hot sauce and it wasn’t enough to redeem it. Anyway, my goal is just to inform customers that Wonderland might not be the best choice for food…unless you get the Nashville chicken sandwich, that one’s p good (hence the two stars).Stay vigilant y’all.
This place is INCREDIBLE. I went the first time with a friend who was visiting me in Milwaukee and we both agreed it was basically the best brunch we’d ever had. I ordered again this weekend for pickup and tried something else on the menu, and it was even better than the first time I went. It’s such a great neighborhood gem that everyone should try!!!
Best tofu dish in all of Milwaukee.Really wonderful and thoughtful waitstaff as well!Fries were. . .okay, but the phenomenal mains burger with a portobello cap is really good, great mac n cheese)Cubano was great, good filling, good cheese, good flavor. However, the baguette was a little too thick to be toasted to the degree it was, making the sandwich too tough.
Solid food. Decent menu. Pot pie a bit bland. Had to really add salt and pepper. Happy hour 2-for-1 beers were great.
