I seriously regret taking my family here for Mother's Day brunch. This was absolutely the worst brunch buffet that I have ever experienced, but was unfortunately also the most expensive. The only acceptable elements of the experience were the omelet station, which was average, but was at least fresh and made to order, and the desserts which were pretty good (when they were available). Service throughout the entire experience was virtually non-existent due to a lack of wait staff; and every table around us was experiencing the same thing. My wife eventually got up and went to the bar to get silverware, since none was brought to us, and it took the waitress more than 10 minutes to bring water and non-alcoholic drinks. Saying the buffet was disappointing would generous. The only meat on the carving station was ham, and appeared to be a shaped ham rather than a natural one. Additionally, NO other breakfast meats (e.g. bacon or sausage) were offered on the buffet. There were no pancakes or french toast available, only soggy waffles (appeared to be pre-made Eggo type waffles) presented with fried chicken tenders (that I'm told were also not good); there was also no syrup on the buffet for the "chicken and waffles." The biscuits were on the buffet with a watery looking gravy poured over them, rather than being placed on the buffet separately, so the biscuits were soggy. There was also no ability to order any fried eggs, even at the omelet station, and there was also no way to order any sort of toast. Despite the very limited offerings, the staff was completely incapable of keeping the buffet filled, so many items were out for long periods of time. Additionally, many of the cold items were placed out on platters with no serving utensils, so guests were using their hands or utensils from other trays to serve multiple things (e.g. using tongs from cheesecake to serve fruit; can you say cross contamination of allergens - dairy, gluten, etc). While I'm usually tolerant of short staffed restaurants these days, creating this poor an experience on a holiday like Mother's Day, is completly unacceptable. If you are that short staffed, then reduce your bookings or just don't open. Charge $40 a person for this attrocity was criminal. If I could rate this experience 0 stars, I would.
This place was simultaneously the most expensive place and the least appetizing place I have ever eaten. The service was mediocre if not outright bad and the food was terrible. For an outrageous price, you can have the privilege of eating soggy Eggo waffles, dry barely fried chicken, dry biscuits, watered down unflavored gravy, and a single meat choice of only mediocre ham. Do not come here if you value the health of your wallet or your stomach.
Awful service for mothers day brunch. Food promised on menu was not available, not even fruit which could have been prepared well in advance. Waiter was not trained, it wasnt his fault. The venue is beautiful, but they have some work to do when it comes to service.
Horrible brunch today!!!!!!! And on Mother’s Day! Cold food, untrained waiter, no water, people stacking plates, people reusing plates at buffet, witnessed lady use her fingers and not tongs, chef was rude to customers, it went on and on and my daughter paid $40 ea for four people. Manager could have cared less!! Don’t waste your time here.
prior to making reservation for mother's day I inquired about the menu and was satisfied. when we got to the place we still had to wait 30 min past our reserved time. then when my Family and I go to the Buffett the only meats were "chicken tenders and ham". not many choices for sides, deserts were dry, and on top of that staff were arguing amongst one another. we saw what we thought was a manager throw his keys and say he quit . they were understaffed . 4 of my family members didn't eat because they didn't want to pay 40$ for what little food was offered. This is the worst buffet EVER!! my Family and I have attended Hilton buffets at the park place location and it was great ! The staff was courteous and did the best they could.
Disaster of a restaurant…photos and online are encouraging while in real life this is the hotel restaurant for Hilton Garden Inn. We went for brunch and the service was BAD….food quality was BAD…restaurant was not clean or inviting. If this is the only restaurant that is available then I would consider fasting!
The food was very good, but the staff clearly needed help. We attended mothers day brunch buffet and there was a set menu. Several items on the menu did not come out at all during the hour or so we were there. Moreover, I heard more than once two staff members arguing on where they needed to go. This was in the middle of the restaurant. Overall good food, but they need some serious staffing help.
The Mother’s Day brunch was horrible. The service was terrible. We had three different waiters that we barely saw. The chef is completely unprofessional and aggressive. They asked how our experience was and we were honest. The chef got very defensive and rude. The waiter told us it was on the house so we started to leave and the chef made a huge scene like we were trying to skip out on the bill. Horrible. Will never go here again. Way overpriced for the quality of food.
Holy hot mess! New bartender was very pleasant but just overwhelmed. Luckily “management” (and I use that term loosely) came to assist.Watching her wipe her nose, sniffle, take shots, behind bar, lick her fingers when boxing up a customers to go food, and scratch UNDER her ‘no imagination’ skirt was pure insanity. We literally stayed for the pure entertainment of watching her forget and mess up orders.Need some real help here
Delicious. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere.
