The food is good, I won't argue that. However, the service by the person that handles the gift cards is substandard. (I'll leave his name out). I ordered a gift card on line for my niece for her birthday. It never showed up. Understandable, things can happen in shipping. I called in three times to the same person to have the situation resolved. Each time I was enthusiastically apologized to and told that the situation would be handled as if it was their own family member. It was never resolved. Not one single thing was done, no phone call, no follow up, no replacement card.....nothing. After three times (of me calling them, not them calling me back to give an update) you more or less get the clue that the situation really isn't going to be resolved and that the person really doesn't care, it was lip service. He was probably hoping I would just give up, which, I did. So yes, eat at the Pasta Tree, the food is good. But, if you order a gift card, pick it up at the restaurant if you can.
I ordered a sallop aburuzzio and Ceasars salad to go. I asked for spinach pasta I got egg, when I pointed this out to the waitress all she did is shrug and say I'm sorry several times no offer to fix it. The Cesar said had no croutons or parm chese. I had a drink at the bar that was the only enjoyable thing about the experience . For a total of 64 dollars I wound up very disappointed. Sorry for spellingalso the pasta only had 3 uncleanness salcallops I've gotten to go from pasta tree many times that is why I'm so disappointed
Took my youngest kid with me out for dinner and we had the best time! Our server Angel was great and we ordered two of the specials, 16oz ribeye and a very tasty salad.I ran into owner Suzette a few years ago at Lambeau Field and have been meaning to stop back into her restaurant ever since. This is a cozy place with a great vibe and an intimate home cooked feel and great wine list :)
I love garlic - all my cooking has a lot, I love garlic. My dish was soooo over -powered with garlic that I didn’t taste anything else. So much potential here that fell flat. At first I thought maybe I was being too hard on the food. Then, I heard the table next to us exclaim “this has way too much garlic”. That’s when I knew I wasn’t overreacting. Not worth the money or time waiting for the food.
One of my all time favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. Delicious homemade pasta, wonderful ambiance.Try the butternut squash ravioli *chefs kiss* !
It says a lot about how good everything was that despite the fact that they had a cooler malfunction that night and couldn't serve signature cocktails or certain cheeses, it was still great. Delicious meals with pasta that's authentic and fresh. Not much more to say than it's sort of the perfect Italian dining experience in Milwaukee.
We had an amazing night there. We were a party of 14 and the waitstaff and Suzette were so gracious despite it being packed. And the food - incredible! I had the lasagne and also tried the butternut squash ravioli and asparagus side - all of it was just delicious and perfectly portioned. Everyone at the table loved their meals as well. I will definitely be back soon!
Food was so so good! Our pasta was fresh and amazing! Our waitress Alanna was so great, her energy was amazing. The cocktails were great as well! Check them out!
We’ll never go there again. We were there for dinner last week Saturday 12/4/21.We wanted to go several other times during the summer and fall. But they were closed because of the COVID epidemic, then I guess the owner was injured, I’m sorry to say.Well anyways, finally we were going to use the $100.00 gift we got from my son for Christmas (12/25/20).We’ll we thought nothing of having the dinner, then presenting the gift card. We’ll anyways the gift card had 0 balance.I double checked with my son , he said went in person to the Pasta tree and bought it.And the waitress said she didn’t think there was an experation date .Well you tell me what happened.Cause we’re upset along with my son.
Service was beyond abysmal. We had reservations and were seated pretty much right away, but it went downhill quickly from there. We were ignored for almost 20 minutes before the server, who was also the hostess and bartender came to take a drink order. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. 30 minutes into this ordeal we finally got water and bread. At 40 minutes the appetizer came out, when we asked for silverware and napkins we were told she would have to go roll some. At this point we still did not have drinks and decided to call it quits. We left the $50 gift certificate we had and left without ever getting to eat anything. I would highly recommend avoiding this place unless you have a night to waste waiting for food. Do not go here.
