Came here for Father’s Day dinner. Staff was friendly and gave great advice on the various pasta dishes which we were grateful for as everything sounded amazing. It turns out, you really cannot go wrong. The traditional Carbonara was amazing (but rich!), short rib (Manzo) was fabulous, and the mushroom ravioli (Funghi) will be remembered in our taste buds until we return to have it again! The smallest pizza size is very very generous. The virgin-style crust was puffier than we were expecting, but fabulous. Stop by this place for your next splurge dinner out if you haven’t been here yet!
When we arrived I was not sure of our decision, there was no parking lot and is in a bit of a strange location. We went inside and almost came right back out as there is a strange smell when first walking in (my husband said cigar smoke). I am very glad we stayed because everything I ate was delicious. My salad was fresh, the lasagna superb and I found my new favorite wine. My husband ordered a deep dish stuffed crust and was very happy with it.
There is a very pungent smell of cigarette right when you walk in, it was very unpleasant. Our host was very kind and got our table ready even though we didn’t have a reservation. I do recommend making one ahead of time because it seemed to get very busy while we waited for our food, which was a very long wait. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and we got there before the rush started. Our server was professional and friendly, she checked up on us often. My family said they wouldn’t come back because the food was okay but not great. I, however, would come back for the Shrimp Scampi, aside from the strong garlic flavor and garlic pieces, I actually enjoyed this dish. We also got a tiramisu for desert and were extremely disappointed. It was very dry and thick, and lacked coffee flavor, I do not recommend the tiramisu here. Over all had an okay experience at Tenuta’s.
What an incredible place, The food is amazing and the service is second to none. Very friendly staff and the food is homemade,if you love Italian food this place is on top of your list. We had 2 thin crust pizzas , they were amazing. The lasagna is phenomenal, the daily special hot sausage with penne pasta was very tasty. But the cannolis are the best I ever had !!
Nice charming little Italian restaurant. Expect to wait a little bit for a table, but the food is worth it. Prices are reasonable.
One of my favorite restaurants period. Great for dine in or carryout/takeout. One of my favorite places for a date night or to celebrate a birthday. My favorite things on the menu are the calamari, gnocchi, carbonara, any of their pizzas and the tiramisu.
Have you seen an Italian restaurant on TV? White linens (Oh, I suppose you could be critical and want red and white), brass bar rail, chalk board, you get the idea. Huge portions of wonderful fresh pasta. great wine and beer selections, arrancini (and other antipasti), freshly grated parmesan, soup and salad. Add in great service, good prices and outdoor seating and there is nothing more to ask for.
This place is amazing! didnt have a reservation and was able to get seated within minutes. this is a teeny tiny VERY cozy restaurant nestled in a cute little neighborhood.the food is incredible! we had the calamari as a started. SUPER crispy and flavorful. came with two sauces.the main courses came with soup or salad- salad and bread which was also very yummy. i had the gnocchi and got a side of meatballs. the gnocchi was so delicious- sauce was super creamy and was loaded with mushrooms. YUM! the meatballs were extra tender as well and truly mouth watering.my partner had the salmon with risotto. the salmon had a crisp crust from the cook, and soft and delicious inside. the risotto was a little funky/ different but still PERFECT!!not to mention, they had a non-alcoholic beer which was a great find for those who are recovering/ not drinkers!love this place. we will definitely be returning very soon!
excellent service, excellent food, love the ambiance of the restaurant, don't get here often enough!! Wish we lived closer!
The chicken picatta is the best! I ordered it 4 times in the last 2 monsth. The 2nd time it was not as good as the 1st as it only had 4 capers in the dish. However a simple fix,the next time I ordered extra capers so preference solved! We do not have dine-in experience, but the staff is always nice during when calling in the order and at picked up. We will definitely go back and can't wait to try other items on their menu!
