The meat they call Outside is amazing, burnt/crispy and we love both of their sauces! Mac & Cheese is some of the best I’ve had! I’d love cornbread instead of the white bread and a bigger coleslaw, but it’s about the BBQ! Cash only.
Their rib tips, mac n cheese & coleslaw was delicious! The sauce on their rib tips is real good. On top of that, their service was excellent! Ordered catering and they helped me bring everything to my car. They were very nice and welcoming from the start. Going to come back here!
THE ABSOLUTE, BEST BARBECUE IN THE CITY!! BAR NONE. Just give us a little bigger portion size. And STOP with the bread, soaked in sauce, under the shoulder.?You still hold the crown, but you do have contenders!
I ordered a pan of tips and thought it would take at least a half hour! I thought about calling in the order first but I was only ten minutes away! Was amazed at the speed of the order and the cashier was very friendly & nice! FOOD WAS GREAT!!!!!!
Speed Queen used to be good long time ago. They have fell off big time, Ribs and tips are dry, old and nasty!!! The sauce is still good but you can't put good sauce on meat that's not good And think it's supposed to be good!!!
Such good food every time! I'm a fan of the pulled pork dinner with mixed sauce. Cash only. Well worth the wait if theres a line!
Always on hit....I went to Texas looking for that real bbq and sad to say they didn't have it...I don't like smoked shoulders...it's like eating soggy meat...thank God cuz the day I got back I got me sum queen and restored my taste buds...fo real
You’re definitely not the best in the Midwest if I don’t eat coleslaw and can’t substitute it. You’re in the hood, black folks don’t do coleslaw. Speed queen won’t even separate your fries in a fish dinner when you ask. I stopped going to speed queen because it’s too much our way or the highway. I’d rather go to famous Dave’s.
The food was good…at first, then I noticed the meat tasted off. I’m not sure if it was old or brined with something but I couldn’t finish the ribs. The shoulder was fine.
Me & a friend went through the Drive-through Saturday December 4th and the Window Clerk was very rude. My friend ordered a shoulder sandwich and I ordered a shoulder dinner. We got the food & pulled away, but as I looked at the food they were the same thing. Just shoulder and coleslaw. So we went back through and asked does baked beans come with the dinners and they said no. I’m like it’s been awhile since I’ve been here and didn’t know that. I will never be returning, you pay more for the dinners and get nothing but a couple more pieces of meat. Y’all can keep that, that’s not a dinner. And then you have the audacity to charge over $2 for that baby cup of baked beans. WOW!
