I have been going to a Sonic since Kansas City, Missouri back in 2004, their food is amazing, and their drinks are a plus; however, I have NEVER been so disgusted in the experience that I have had till I went to this Milwaukee Sonic! After a long flight and just wanting to grab something fun and good to eat we stopped at this Sonic, not only did we sit at the car park area for 5 minutes after pushing the button only to find out they no longer use them and that the drive-through is the only way to order (another customer told us no one came on the intercom to let us know and we pushed the button twice). We got up to the window and the lady who was taking our order just kept cutting us off, so we stopped talking for her to finally say is anyone there? We slowly ordered our food hoping it would be done right but of course when someone cuts you off your food gets messed up! I had my boyfriend wait till the food was checked to make sure and the lady at the window kept telling us we had to move along until he finally looked at her and said we will once we check our order. She rolled her eyes and closed the window. When we finally got her attention and told her we were missing a tater tot and French fry order she told me to prove it! EXCUSE ME!!!!! I’m still sitting her by your window looking to make sure you did your job, and it did not get done right; I don’t give my money away for free I paid for this food and want it! I had to ask for a manager which another women came to the window, apologized gave me our missing items and I told her thank you and we were on our way! I won’t be back and definitely do not recommend to anyone else! I have been to many different Sonics and this by far is the WORST which is very upsetting as I really like the drinks and the company!
We've been jonesing for our first Sonic burger for nearly a year and this raining Friday early afternoon in April was just right for our inaugural visit. I've been signed up with the Sonic app on my phone for nearly a year and teased regularly by their online specials. The buy on get one SuperSonic Cheeseburger was too strong an offer to pass up and the May 7th expiration was coming up fast, Ordering on the Sonic App was a breeze even with the addition of a credit card, doing all the above while in one of a dozen or more open car hop stalls at the Miller Park Way Sonic. Once placed our order of two SuperSonic Cheeseburgers and medium fries came out in under 6 minutes. The double patty burgers were massive in height and no slouch in circumference. I was immediately challenged jacking my mouth open wide enough to take a consequential first bite. Critical to the in-car clean eating of the double patties, lettuce, diced onion, large slices of tomato, pickle, ketchup and mustard was the husky foil laminated paper wrapper that enveloped the sandwich. One dare not remove the sandwich from the paper wrapper during eating least one's lap or chest would wearing the juicy contents escaping with each bite. The doughly bun held up extraordinarily well to the massive sandwich and contained everything except the juices. Not a single chunk of any part of the sandwich was left behind in the wrapper - a testimony to the ruggedness of the bun. The medium fries were a near perfect knock off for Mc Donald's, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside with a good salt balance. My spouse and I were quite full after our late lunch and didn't eat again until after 8:00 pm thanks to the substantial SuperSonic Cheeseburgers and fries.
Service is terrible. I placed an order at window. I was given food other than what I ordered. I told the female it was wrong she refused to correct the order or refund it. The worker threw the food on the ground & called the police because I wanted a refund & remained at the window. I was told by police that this restaurant has lots of problems with customers. Check your order if it's wrong & you ask for a refund expect police to show. Workers Attitudes is terrible.
The pretzel tw8sts with cheese are AMAZING. Aunt Annie's have nothing on these. The lines are sometimes long, but they work through them quickly and my food I'd always hot and fresh. Love this place! Highly recommend, especially for picky eaters
Man I really do love Sonic more than I should. Every day I thank the Lord for my fast metabolism cuz I could literally come here every single day and eat me these chilli cheese dogs.I'm from the Missouri where I first got to experience Sonic when I was a kid. You know, back in the days when the highschoolers would whip their shitwagons around the Sonic trying to pull chicks. Every time I come here I can almost taste the sweet nostalgia of the chiggers in the grass, the squitos in the air, and the yeeyees in my ears.5/5 ⭐
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger toaster and the toast was BLACK! You could smell it as soon I started to open the foil wrapper it comes in. I emailed the customer service line and they offered me 2 free cheeseburgers with a purchase of another item. This place is a joke from the restaurant to customer service.
First time going and the last time going their, Worst experience ever never going back we got attitude by the manager and the employee, they got our order bad we paid extra money because of their mistakes one of the lady's was telling next time you should order better that is not right I have respect for people but when I get disrespected like that it's not right never going back to that place again. I rate it a 0 if I could never going back.
Been a while since I had sonics till this morning. Went this morning at 10AM which is the time they opened at. Ordered 1 double cheeseburger meal and 1 cheeseburger meal. After ordered I waited 15 min at the window for my food. After getting my food I went home which is only a 5 min drive. After opening everything up everything was stale, cold and old. Unsure how this could be possible unless the 15 min of me waiting at the window was my food actually done and just sitting. The buns were hard and stale, burger was cold and the tater tots were cold as well. I would expect better food esp for them to just open for the day. Thats why I choose to come earlier then later hoping food would be fresh. Super disappointed and a waste of $17.
Worst customer service ever, I placed an order online to skip the long wait and still waited 35 minutes and one was in line or waiting. After going to window to see what was going on the manager was so rude food was cold just a really bad experience.
This was the worst cheesesteak I've ever had in my life. They act like they didn't care how they made my sandwich. I asked for a strawberry tea. They said we just threw it out because it was cold.. The tator tots were dry and old. When I called to make a complaint the worker answered by saying "Hello" like it was his personal number. When I made the complaint I didn't receive no apologize or anything. There should be an option for zero stars because they don't even deserve 1.12/28/21 8:50pm
