The restaurant gave me 6 pieces of small lamb meat with a lot of rice and and bread. When I brought the issue up to the store owner's attention, the cook smirked and stated that the lamb meat is high quality.
First time trying last night and I didn't have any issues. I had the chicken sharwama meal . It was dry to me but I ate it. My bread was literally came from the bag they bought the bread in. Red flag/I never had that happen before. But my boyfriend had the gyro and the first red flag was how the meat looked compared to other spots, but he ate it anyway despite better judgement as he didn't want to waste his money. He was throwing up last night after eating the gyro meal. We won't be coming back sadly. I know things happen but yeaaaaaa no. Bad first experience
Went to them after they moved up Oakland to a new location. Good food, but a bit pricey for what it was. However, it was made fresh, with the order taking a few minutes to get together. Overall, not a bad stop!
Food was way too expensive for the quality or quantity. I ordered the Lamb Kabob Entrée for $17 and got a pitiful portion of food, mostly rice. If the food wasn't so bland I would have gave it one more star but my experience with Shahrazad was incredibly disappointing.
Friendly owner/workers, decent prices (especially for lamb), and some of the best lamb I have ever had in the USA (definitely the best grilled). 10/10 will buy again.
Best falafel i have ever had. I've been going here for years. Wonderful staff and so accommodating to any request. The lentil soup is amazing!!
LOW QUANTITY FOOD, VERY EXPENSIVEVisit: 12/30/21Charged me like a 26 for just shawarma and falafelVery lo quantity food not even sufficient for a kid,No chicken no rice just the greens and small platesExpect to spend Atleast a 50 bucks if you are trying to grab a quick meal.Would not recommend for quantity and over pricedLearn to fulfill a customer hunger, not your money greed business.
I dropped by here recently for the first time. Shahrazad is a great spot for some middle eastern food!I had the lamb shawarma sandwich. The pita bread that my sandwich came in was excellent and the lamb was very flavorful. My wife got the vegetarian platter which was also very good. The grape leaves were delicious. We also split some baklava for dessert. It was home made. It was great! The two people working were super friendly to top it all off. I’ll be back.
Close to UWM and good food at a decent price. The customer service is also pretty good, I'm going to come here more regularly.
Ive eaten there multiple times and had carry out multiple time. The food was alway delicious and can’t wait for the new restaurant to open on north Oakland only two blocks from my house. I read a review from 5 months ago saying they had an awful experience. One bad meal doesn’t make a restaurant. I highly recommend it.
