First time checking this place out. I love how welcoming the place felt. Had good Reggaetón music playing. The drinks were Amazing. The Puerto Rican rice was mouth watering, so good. Definitely will be coming back.

Come to this restaurant!!! It has a amazing blend of Latin cuisines!!! Tostones rellenos with chicken-excellent. Ropa vieja-classic Cuban dish, also excellent, and also pernil al horno en salsa de chile guajillo-a Puerto Rican classic, also excellent. We also ordered some yuca frita, also excellent. Go. To. This. Restaurant.
The food and entertainment was wonderful. The wait was long for the food because they were understaffed but did the best they could. Everything was delicious.
The food is no disappointment and they have a nice vibe in the restaurant. Unfortunately, it's not 5 stars, cause I think my server was all by herself on the floor. She was the busboy, bartender, and server. Boy was she moving! But because of that she did the best the SHE alone could, hence customer service took a hit. My plate was kinda slid on my table, by the time I looked up she was running to the bar, where she was already making a drink in the blender. She definitely earned her tip.Anyway, worth a visit at least. I'll give it another try, maybe someone called in sick or something.
I went at lunch, the place was not packed and I was served quickly. I had the Galdo de Res which was very good. It had a lot of meat if you like that. I would recommend getting it as a cup rather than a soup because it was a lot.
We loved the tostone rellenos and the mojitos are the best in the city ???
We had reservations for 7:30 PM, but our table was not ready when we arrived. Not a huge deal as they were busy and we only had to wait about 10 mins to be seated. We waited a little while for the waiter to arrive (he apologized for the delay) and decided to place our food and drink orders together since we were hungry. They’d run out of multiple drinks that we wanted to order and the drinks we did receive varied in taste - some of them being undrinkable. I could have seen past all this, however, after having waited TWO HOURS for our food to arrive, our waiter told us they hadn’t even begun cooking our meals. We closed out our check and went somewhere else to eat. Food looked good but not worth a 2+ hour wait and mediocre drinks.
Out of basic items to make basic cocktails. Wait time for service (start to finish) was extreme (3 hours). Food - steaks not cooked to request, food requested not recieved. Just over all bad experience. It seems like a mom/pop place which we normally love and would definitely give some leeway too but it was just too many wrong things to make it ok.
