Ruta's was great! The menu is diverse and has a lot of great options to choose from between sandwiches/paninis and bowls! Would highly recommend checking them out in Crossroad's Collective.
Ruta's is our go-to fave! Everything is fresh and delicious. I cannot get enough of the pulled pork sandwich and the house made pickles. And did I mention the muffins? OMG - so moist and bursting with flavor. Ruta's is a fabulous addition to the MKE restaurant scene!
Over priced not upto my expectations!The reason for low rating is taste of the food for me personally. Some people may like it although. Also, I didn’t find the cost justified. And, I felt misled for what I ordered. The picture showed a Grilled Veggie sandwich for $13 + $2 for a single slice of cheese but I received a cold sandwich. They were probably low on staff so I didn’t have anyone to ask about it.?No silverware or napkins were given with the order. Not a good experience.I’ll not go back there and I’d not recommend.
The menu was excellent. The help was not. I was the only one ordering and sat 15 feet away while my order sat for 20 min getting cold. I was in full view of this obviously disinterested and underworked individual who took my order but he never mentioned it was ready. I didn’t hear or feel the buzzer.The food was great, albeit cold. The guy taking orders Tuesday afternoon was a disaster.

The absolute worse food I have ever had (literally)The rice was old and cold. The chicken was tasteless, and the person who was prepping the food was not wearing gloves to make a sandwich. Another person who worked there, I believe his name is Jax, was very friendly. We also had the black eyed peas & lentil soup & they were both tasteless & undercooked.
The hot roast chicken sandwich is so good! Has a nice kick to it! Plus friendly staff! Definitely ordering again from here!
The Chunky Lentil soup was exactly what was need on a cold day. Filling and warm.
