This was our favorite Indian restaurant 20 years ago. We hadn't been in a long time since we had moved to another part of the city. We moved back to this area and thought it would be fun to go back there. Never again. We waited an hour for our food which was simply awful!!! The naan fell apart and the insides looked like cat food, really! My Chicken Vindaloo was the worst that I have ever had and my husband's shrimp was burnt to the point that it tasted like nothing. He never came to check on us and when I asked for a second cup of tea, he charged me for it!!! I had waited almost fifteen minutes to get it and we were done eating and waiting for the bill. No chutneys were given with the naan. If this was my first Indian food experience, I would never eat it again. Go to Taj Mahal in Hales Corners if you want good Indian food with great service. Avoid this place. And there was a fly trap on one light fixture and some sort of food drippings next to me on the wall. Just gross!!!
Excellent food, great staff, attentive service, and a nice atmosphere. We especially loved their chicken tiki masala. We will definitely return.
The chicken tiki masala was fantastic. The staff was very pleasant and attentive.
This place is awesome. The menu has great variety as well when compared to other Indian restaurants in Milwaukee. Will definitely go back!
We ask for Onion and Lemon for Biriyani. They provided a small single slice/piece of Lemon, Two slice of onion and charged $3 as salad (?). Little disappointed, but Biriyani was good...
Wonderful food!! Mike is an Absolutely Amazing Chef!!! We drive 40 minutes to eat here. Best Indian food we have ever had!
Ordered through Uber eats but I couldn't write an actual review.Let me start out by saying that the taste of the food was excellent! Flavor was spot on. HOWEVER, 2* because the order of Butter Chicken was VERY lacking in chicken and abundant in sauce. Tasted great though. Here's the kicker though. I ordered Lamb Korma and there was meat, but I would have to say, the meat was outnumbered my bones and fat. Seriously though, THIS many bones in a single serving or Korma? I don't expect ANY bones, but I understand if one slips by. But this was ridiculous. One was so large and sharp (and hidden by the sauce) that it cut the inside of my mouth. Need to do better. I loved the flavor. The Basmati rice was perfect, the nan was great, but the small portion chicken and bones in the lamb may prevent me from returning.
The food quality at this restaurant has deteriorated over the years. We ordered Malai kofta and navratan korma and naan/chapatis. The koftas were like some veg pakodas dipped in a sweet spicy sauce. Navratan korma had big chunks of uncooked vegetables just dropped in the sauce. We have tried both these dishes before with them and those used to be better. The rotis were chewy and hard to break. I don't know if it's their chef or their need to reduce quality to improve margins.
Food is awesome, I like the tandoori chicken, mutton curry. superb taste and the great service makes my day when I go over there.
The best Indian place in Milwaukee.I had best experience there not gonna lie.
