Unreal Ramen! Amazing broth! Flavorful meat! Absolutely amazing! Loved the ambiance as well as the food. The menu is a true testament to quality over quantity.
This considerably tiny ramen restaurant has a colossal taste. Your flavor palette will not be disappointed, each dish is like a personal gift. Though you might want to rush to get in it's first come first serve, but you won't want to rush to leave as the ambiance is quite nice and comfortable. This place is way smaller than you think it is, but awesome. Being part Japanese, I had high expectations, and RLR met them. The egg in the Tonkotsu Ramen was to die for, and I want to eat it every day. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect texture. We also got the Takoyaki Waffle, which was also great. My only complaint is that the appetizer portion was small, but the dinner portion was fine. Highly recommend, and get an appetizer too! They're different from appetizers that are normally at Japanese restaurants.
As a couple that has been to Japan multiple times, this ramen is closest you'll get to that level of flavor and splendor in the US. They also have an assortment of izakaya style snacks. Their play on okonomiyaki, the okonomiyaki waffle, was super good! They have a decent little selection of sake, and what looked like amazing frozen cocktails. We're going back to try the mushroom broth very soon. Red Light is a must visit for ramen fans in Milwaukee!

Placed an order for pick up, and didn’t realize we would be receiving “kits” so we had to make it ourselves; it is way overpriced if we have to cook it ourselves. And they put the wrong order in the kit; both kits were labeled chicken but one was beef :( i did not like the beef one at all, but the chicken one was okay. The staff was nice.
Quality Ramen. Nice staff. Would recommend if you are craving Ramen in Milwaukee.
The take home boxes are the way to go.This place is good on its own but the covid take-home ramen kits were a GAME CHANGER. They're so easy to make and so good. A great spot for take-out, which is hard for soups.
Good quick eats. Great atmosphere.
