Pho lacked flavor. Restaurant was pretty old and had a smell to it.
This place has been around since the 90s me and friends always enjoyed the food here 15 years later still enjoy the food here.
Always a pleasant experience eating at Phan's! Friendly staff and of course great food. Couple of things to note! This place really needs a make over. Furniture has seen better days and is border line in need of repair. Lastly! The prices have gone up quite a bit, I guess it's the times we live in!
We strayed away from Jing's on E. Buffalo to try something new and different and boy was that a terrible mistake. We ordered to go two Spring Rolls, two Vietnamese Rolls and the pork & shrimp fried rice from Phan's Garden. Not only was the food horrible, but they only provided one packet of soy sauce so we couldn't even doctor up the wretched taste. Never again will we order from this place.

I have lived a couple miles away for 15 yrs and can't think of a better place to call home! Phan's Garden is located in the neighborhood of Clark Square. It is just east of an area called Silver City in Milwaukee. The area is very diverse and full of family oriented people. It is also an older part of town which has been steadily been going through improvements: booming business districts and more home ownership. Neighborhood communities and organizations make this part of town a destination. Sure it is a busy part of a city, so just like in any city in any part of the world, don't keep your face in your phone and always be aware of your surroundings....you don't want to miss city artwork or murals that are near, not to mention the nearby Hank Aaron bike trail!!!! Now back to the food...not much to say except you will be planning your next visit once you take your first bite!! Phan's Garden is a Milwaukee staple that serves Vietnamese food and more...(delicious Pho!!) and has been family owned for more than 30+ years. I am a single female and feel comfortable when I go for walks in and around the neighborhood that is full of old style homes and architecture from a bygone era. Enjoy your visit to Phan's and my neighborhood on your trip to Milwaukee!!!

Their pho is garbage! It’s not a pho joint so dont expect the mile. House special fried rice and sesame chicken trash. Sesame chicken sauce taste like mc Donald’s Asian zing sauce with sesame seed sprinkled on top and their house special fried rice mushrooms, bamboo, and bell peppers ?. There is no chinese or Vietnamese authenticity. Never again! Trying a new spot I will be sticking to my regulars. First and last time.
Eating their food makes me feel like I was back in Vietnam. They’re consistently awesome.
