VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF..FOOD IS GOOD, TASTY & SEASONED..AND LET ME ADD, THE "CHITTLINS" ARE THE BOMB.."MY FAVORITE"

Food was delicious! Smothered pork chops rice and gravy cabbage and Mac and cheese

This place was great once upon a time. Now, they aren’t open as indicated, the food is bland, greens are from a can and wait time is horrible. I made it to the restaurant at 5:20, waited at the window and saw the woman look at me. When the lady finally came to the window she said she couldn’t serve me because it was 5:30. It’s so sad when you want to spend money in your community but get crummy service! I won’t be back. Ugh

It was terrible the yams were half done the greens were awe full and the smothered chicken were there great big chicken legs so tough you could barely cut them. The mac and cheese was delicious the rest was garbage.

Waited 30 minutes for this and it was such a let down smothered chicken and dressing and Mac. First off the dressing tasted like wet cornmeal, no flavor at all. The chicken taste like they just dipped it in gravy and sat it on the rice. What a waste of $27.00. But wait it gets better my lady said her greens tasted plain no seasoning at all. Such a let down we searched for a new soul food restaurant, and this is definitely not it.

Fried pork chop, mac n cheese and dressing were good. Peach cobbler was amazing. Corn bread was not good and the only thing that kept this from being a 5.

Good food but slow waiter in getting the food. Standing outside too long for my food

The food is absolutely delicious. I had the catfish dinner with yams and macaroni and cheese rice and gravy and hot water cornbread.

Waited 45 minutes for food , and everything tasted like nothing . No flavor , Fish was alright , rice hard , dressing nasty , meat loaf taste like MPS , Mac no flavor cheese look old , greens taste like boiled water .

This business catered to our school recently. The food is a healthier version made for those of us who love soul food but can’t have the extra sodium and cholesterol. However, the salmon croquettes were dry and thick. I won’t order them again. The catfish pieces were small for a meal that was costly. The sides are delicious, as well as the desserts. I will patronize again, but will stick trying certain menu items. Overall, I recommend this place as a soul food option.
