We ordered to go and it was great!! ?? The food had great flavor!! We had the fried Catfish and shrimp dinner and the fried Catfish and grits dinner. We plan to order again or go inside to eat!

Would leave zero stars if I could. Waited 2 hours with a small group that has reservations weeks in advance. When we showed to our private dinner not a flame was lit. Nothing was prepped it was like they were shocked a group showed up. No chef or waiter came out to apologize. As a people we have to do better.

Absolutely delicious food and great drinks! Friendly service - it took some time to get served seemed to be due to short staffing but the owner was very attentive between the event in the back room and the diners in the front.Definitely coming back.A must try!

I came to town for a wedding. The Bridal Party/Wedding Rehearsal Dinner was held here. The food was not ready when we arrived. Not one sterno had been lit. No drinks nor appetizers were prepared. NOTHING! We sat for over an hour before they even brought out water. As I spoke to guests (who are local residents), they stated that the service is always poor. They also stated that the food is usually delicious, though. Well, of the food that we FINALLY received, I could have done better ordering carry-out from somewhere else. I felt bad for the Bride & Groom moreso because they had a contract and paid ALL THIS MONEY, and did not get anything that they asked for, nor were they pleased with how their guests felt. I hope that this establishment will improve. I'm sure the chef is amazing, but this showing was LACK LUSTER!

The atmosphere is so calming and welcoming. Everyone there treated me as family and I’m so excited of the things that they have planned for the restaurant and I will be back and bringing others. The seafood gumbo was so savory the consistency in the brew was amazing the shrimp were large and clean I was more than satisfied. I also enjoyed their Hurricane and a tequila sunrise and I was buzzed and satisfied! I can’t wait to come and experience more from On the bayou!

Had a great time and they were willing to accommodate me and my Frat Brothers even though they were short staffed. Also we were having our annual Founders week dinner and always pick a black owned establishment. They didn't disappoint to bad. My only complaint was the cost of Entree and appetizers, didn't get a bang for my buck. Some of us went somewhere for wings while others like myself are grabbing a late snack. Other than that I will be back to support.

Food, service, and hospitality were 10/10. Charles was great at making sure we got everything we needed. Catfish and Gumbo had so much flavor and love. Will be going back soon!

This place has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. I happened to stumble upon a karaoke night but the service was great and so was the gumbo. Would definitely come here again

The food was ok catfish was good but I feel like the food was over priced. But it was all you can eat food could of been a better selection of foods mac and cheese was dried out and the chicken was cooked way to hard. Workers was nice. One worker never changed there gloves while serving people's drinks and picking up dirty plates.

We came here tonight to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. I fell in love On the Bayou. The food was beyond delicious! The best Shrimp and Grits and Seafood Gumbo I've ever had. The service was excellent! The owner came to check on us and everything. It was an awesome experience.
