Oakland Gyros!!! What a legendary place! In college we would go here at least 1 day a week and sometimes 2-3. Open late with amazing Gyros, Chicken Shish kabab, Cheeseburgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, O rings, Curly fries and more.They give you lots of water, your own ketchup and cucumber sauce for your tray and that always that is always helpful after a night of bar hopping. :) It's the little things!The staff are always over the top hard working and friendly. Late night you might see some crazy shenanigans from time to time but that is all part of the experience.A+
This place has to have the best gyros in Milwaukee! I've been going here since I was very young with my family, they have been holding my favorite food ever since! The staff are so nice and welcoming, I love all the food they have there! They serve some of the best Greek cuisine! Haven't had a single bad trip in my 14 years of going there!

I have loved this place and have been coming here for a decade. Since adopting a plant based diet my visits are much less frequent but I still stop in for fries and soda.Oakland Gyros is a respected and cherished Milwaukee institution. The staff is professional and friendly. Many of them I have seen since my first visits. I hope they are decently compensated because they make the guests feel welcome. Milwaukee must do! Definitely a staple for anyone in the area. Grew up minutes from here and went to UWM. Always love visiting when I’m town. Got the gyro platter with extra pit.
Hey. I know it's been a while. We were together for eight years, open relationship of course, neither one of us could commit completely to each other, and that was okay. We were happy.But life took me in a new direction. I find myself in Nebraska, and thinking about our time together. I found a place that serves gyros here. It was... okay, I guess. It wasn't like it was with you, though. And that tzatziki sauce... Oh man. I don't know if anyone will ever live up to the standard that you set.So, I guess I just wanted to say that I still think about you, I miss you, and I hope you're doing well. I love Oakland East gyro I've been eating there ever since the 80s they have delicious food outstanding price affordable price and good quality food the place is very clean the employees there are very friendly and very respectful I recommend everyone to go and try the gyro it is so delicious it will melt in your mouth and the Spanish pie oh my God and they are so delicious they fries and they shakes is off the chain don't just take my word go in and try for yourself I promise you you won't regret it East Oakland gyro is in the house thank you all for over 40 plus years God bless you all and I love you all more peace ????️ ?✌️????
Some of the best counter service food you can get in MKE! Food is super fresh and made to order and comes out fairly quickly! Staff will help bring food to tables and get refills on sodas! Even brought my son an ice cream cone on the house!! Many things on the menu beyond gyros, the fried mushrooms are really good!
