Fun place to eat, service was timely on a holiday.
The waitress was awesome! The food was great too!!
It took a LONG time to receive our food and the place wasnât even busy. The music was loud making it hard to hear conversations amongst ourselves. I thought it was pretty pricy just for burger/finger food.
They seemed really disorganized, and weren't really into serving dinner. I ordered a beer that they happened to be out of. That happens, no big deal. However when I asked the waitress about comparable beers, she said she was only 20 and didn't know anything about them. She really wasn't very helpful. The food was all right, but it didn't stand out. This restaurant is also adding credit card surcharges, but they don't tell you in advance. You find out when you get you check, and they have already applied it. This is our second and last visit here. They are a lot of other restaurants within 1 to 2 minutes walking distance.
The food was okay but for the price it's not worth it. Our waitress wasn't very attentive and up charged us all to fries without us asking for it. My spicy chicken sandwich had zero spice to it so that was disappointing. The ambiance is fine, overall I would say this place is fair and you can find much better places in the area
We had reservations at 5:45pm, and we were seated at 5:50pm. We didn't get our bill until 7:10pm. We waited far too long for our food as we ordered immediately when we received drinks and asked for our bill as food was served. It shouldn't have taken nearly an hour and a half to have supper. The burger was cooked well done and the spicy chicken was black on the outside. Overall, everything looked and tasted overcooked. It was our first and last time.
The restaurant was out of chicken and 1/2 of our party of 6 ordered chicken sandwiches (1/2 the menu is chicken sandwiches of some kind). So that was disappointing, but the burgers ordered instead were tasty. Service was fine. Restaurant was kind of loud, but to be expected as a sports bar.
Wondering around with a friend on a Monday evening looking for a place to grab something to eat - so we ended up in the Oak Barrel. Not very crowded , except for the bar area and around the TV screens - the Bucks were playing that evening - so a lot of people were watching the game while having a meal ... We've chosen a table towards the back of the place - and order some beers.. A nice treat we got bacon fat popcorn to go with the bear , tasty , if you like bacon you will love these. I went for the chicken wings - no fries- since I wasn't that hungry - still those were tasty and nice. Service was very good - nothing to complain. Overall a good spot from my perspective if you like the sort of food that is served here.
I think our server was new, very disorganized, Food was average for bar food. Sat outside and it was pleasant.
Food is always great!!! Small critique: It was Mother's Day and we took the time to RSVP so we expected a better table and not getting crammed in a corner.
