Pork chops were hard and definitely wasn’t made fresh. Not tender at all!! Macaroni was bland and yams weren’t sweet. Only thing that was good was my daughter’s chicken. That was the only thing made fresh. Very disappointed
My pork chops was salty & my macaroni had burnt pieces in like they Microwaved it. Greens was ok no meat but they was okay. Corn bread was ok too
Horrible customer service. I was completely ignored when I went in to pick up my order. Had to ask to pay for my meal that I preordered after waiting 5 minutes at the counter. I watched the cashier stock products right in front of me for minutes. Get to work and realized they forgot the deserts. I ordered two meals - one for me and another person. The labels on the containers of food did not correspond with the food that was inside. I basically got the other person’s order and they got mine, even though we took our food based on what the labels indicated. I called and the manager was really nice and offered to comp a meal. However, he placed me on hold and took multiple in store orders while I waited on the phone for 20 minutes. I hung up and have been calling multiple times, but the call keeps going to voicemail and I am unable to leave a message.
Absolutely wonderful. When I first walked in the door I was the only person in line but within minutes it was easily a dozen more customers. The staff was able to handle the rush and the food was tremendous and hot. I had their meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn and I can honestly say it was the best meatloaf I have ever had at a restaurant. Definitely homemade. Great portion size and good prices. There’s so much more in the menu that I want to try too. This is truly comfort food and truly southern comfort food. Very impressed.
I had the worst experience ever! I asked the woman what the nino sampler was. She told me a fried piece of chicken, catfish and catfish. I told her smothered chicken instead I wasn’t interested in that. She said okay I told her my sides and she told me it would be a 25 minute wait. I waited for 2 hours for my food. I asked them over and over how long and what was ready what wasn’t. They continued to tell me just a few minutes with no details. The woman at the front counter wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. Everyone that came in after me and ordered there got my food first. Only to realize the woman rang me up for the nino sampler for me to be disappointed because I don’t eat pork or catfish! That was the whole reason I wanted the smothered chicken! Very very disappointed waste of money and time. She gave constant updates to people around me why there order was taking so long, she wouldn’t even make eye contact with him! It was by far the worst experience for a take out order I’ve had in my life! The chicken tasted as if it was fried in fish grease! But the sides dressing & greens were really good. I don’t think I would ever recommend them to anyone or eat there again.
Always good. I had been away to long. The catfish was wonderful with mac and cheese with collards. I love this place.

Hands down best soul food and nice portion sizes. The food is perfectly prepared in the old fashioned southern cooking style. They are definitely a hidden treasure and worth the trip to visit. 10 out of 10 for us!
Nino’s are on point! Their food is freshly made! The taste of everything is outstanding! To me its the best soul food in Milwaukee by far! Everything is not overly seasoned either! Its not made sloppy! I care how my food looks! The food looks and taste good! Their establishment is clean and the staff is nice! I love going there! If you want some good clean food, go to Nino’s!❤️❤️❤️
The food is a 10 out of 10 the cutomer service is a 9 out of 10 and that's only because I didn't recieve the side of rice I ordered and paid for. However, when I called and let them know they said they would have it in the system for me next time! ? ?, now let's get into it. The smothered porkchops were so tender the gravey was on point. I had greens and cornbread seasoned just right. And piping hot so was the cheesy Mac ND cheese talk about soul. I felt deep down in my soul, it's definitely what I'd call soul food!!! Absolutely ? yummy!!!!
