Great friendly service. Amazing diner did.
Horrible service! The owner is horrible! The food is equally horrible! Don’t ever come here
We ordered the corn beef hash today and it was not delicious and fresh when we tried it the very first time it was perfect serving size presentation and everything today I went in and first was over charged the total for the 2 plates came out to 25.00 which means one plate was charged 10 the other 15 okay whatever but to present the food any other way then the picture attached is A DISGRACE the cook needs to be Reevaluated seriously
First impressions weren't the greatest (we got there around 6pm on a Thurs evening and were the only patrons). Our waitress was pleasant, and as she suggested several menu options, folks started to trickle in. We ordered a variety of food, including pancakes, French toast, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and an open face turkey dinner. The two dinner plates included side salads that were very fresh. The pancakes were fluffy and on point. The meatloaf and turkey dinners were hefty portions, and it was evident that the potatoes were freshly mashed. The meatloaf and turkey were very tasty and not dry, and the side of green beans with bacon was pretty darn good. This is a nice family diner, and I could see how it would be a fun late night place (especially in the bar area with the authentic and classic shuffleboard)! What a fun, authentic diner feel with good food and good people. Check it out.
Quick and tasty. Finally drove by and checked this place out. The wife had heard it was good. A lil heavy on the butter but finally got to check out a Milwaukee staple
Disappointed, and probably will no go back. Undercooked food. Sunny side up eggs were super raw. Sausage links were lukewarm with red color at the center. I lost my appetite.Staff was attentive.
Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The waiters and owners are always so friendly make you feel like you've known them forever. The food portion was very generous. My favorite part was the glass they serve your shots in. I have the same ones at home and it made me feel like they had that glass just for me. Corny i know. But its the little things that matter in this crazy ol' world ❤️ i recommend
This spot was recommended by friends and it didn't disappoint. We stopped in for breakfast while in town and though it appeared the dining room was packed with a wait for a table, we quickly spied the large counter in the original diner space. The counter was empty when we arrived but for a few folks enjoying a quiet breakfast. It quickly filled up after we were seated. Food was good, tasty and plentiful. People nearby ordered a Bloody Mary with a beer back. Guess it's a Milwaukee thing. Great yellow and redish Formica counter and cupboards. Near Marquette University so many students and locals alike.
Awesome Service, Friendly people !
Decided to visit an old school diner/coffee shop. This hit the spot. Friendly staff AND customers. Went in a particularly busy breakfast Saturday, with large crowds planning on attending a local college sports game. Prices were phenomenal, food was just as ai expected, basic and done well.
