Completely asinine cashier thinks she has authority to police people on whether they wear masks. Refused to sell me my food unless I put a mask on. Will NEVER go here again and I've been going here for the last 6 years. Nowhere else in the City of Milwaukee is this being enforced. My office building just one block away from here is not enforcing it. Mandates are not laws.
Great variety, great food! The Milwaukee Waterfront Deli is reminiscent of an authentic delicatessen experience. With a great many options, and fantastic food to boot, this quick stop will definitely get you in the mood to come back for more. Most of their seating is on the 2nd floor, but they dont hand deliver the food. How do they accomplish this you ask? By a conveyor of course! Their conveyor for delivering food to the upstairs is great fun to watch. It's a classic Pflow system, and it handles the food quite gently. I hope you stop in soon and have as much fun as I did while I was there.
Very fresh, quick, reasonable prices and tasty. I have been there twice, had a salad and the second time a sandwich. Only issue was I ordered online and had to wait in line to get my order. There is a sign by the register that says pick up online orders but it would seem rude to skip the line.
I ordered breakfast at 8:40. Today it would be ready in 15 mins. There are 5 employees here, and I’m still waiting 30 mins after the time I was told my order would be ready. Waiting a total of 40 mins so far… still waiting. Terrible.
Good food, reasonable prices, and fast and friendly service.
The food is cheap and good. The ✨ coffee ✨. At least in my experience the attention was good.
OMG-OODNESS! The pastrami sandwich was amaaaaazzzing! So tender and juicy with a hint Smokey flavor! I want another one right now... wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids Michigan! A MUST STOP IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA! ✌
Well made lunch specials everyday. On the pricey side but you do get a good amount of food. Sandwiches are stuffed but not sloppy and are very good. Homemade soups, sushi selections and salad selections are quite tasty. They are open 5 days a week at 7AM and have several breakfast options. They also sell wine.
Limited selection but everything is fresh and delicious!
This little gem is a family tradition. Anytime I've taken my kids to performances or on special excursions in downtown Milwaukee we always make time for a stop at the Deli. The food is exceptionally fresh with a great variety to suit all pallets. The service is always with a welcoming smile. And the ambiance is wonderfully magical! From the elaborate murals of theatre patrons (some famous Milwaukeeans) and lavish mirrors, to the fascinating colorful two-story food lift, there's something of wonder to amuse throughout the Deli.
