Came down town for some lunch on a Sunday and did not know what to expect and found the Miller Time Pub &Grill, it’s attached to the hotel so you have to go in thru the hotel. I had a few drinks and the Pastrami Rueben sandwich with chips and it was sooo delicious, the rye bread was perfectly toasted with just the right amount of sauerkraut and dressing and they didn’t skimp out on the pastrami. Thanks ??
Cheesecurds were delicious, especially dipped in beer cheese soup. A great lovely place on a Saturday night. The bartenders al had jovial attitudes, and this place stood as one of the first restaurants we've been to from Florida, where the atmosphere was cheerful and comfortable.I know people don't like the "new norm" phrase, but for those looking to feel "normal" like preCOVID, this is what it was like.I read Wisconsin possesses a friendly environment, and those articles proved correct.
Located in the lower lobby of the Milwaukee Hilton City Center it is a Pub that is convenient in the case you are not looking for a fancy restaurant or you don't want to take a walk to another place. Very good seating capacity - we always found a table for our group, even if we had to wait a few minutes it wasn't long. The menu is loaded with pub favorites - sandwiches, hot dogs, fish and chips - so if you like bar food with a few beers this is the right place. I have eaten here a few times during May 2022 - food was generally tasty, a bit too salty for my taste (but I tend to eat less salt than average so it might be perfect for anybody else), the portions are big, so no one leaves hungry. The drinks menu is also extensive so you can have a wide choice of beverages. Service was good - except for the evenings when the Bucks played, all the staff was glued to the TV screens so it was kind of slow those times. Prices are decent - in the average range - so is not expensive to have a meal there. Overall a good place from my perspective.
If you like a Reuben with no kraut then this is the place for you! Kraut is one of the main reasons to eat a Reuben. The meat is very salty and the sandwich needed more dressing. The salad was rinds and romaine ribs. Disappointing.
In from out of town to meet a friend. The hostess cheerfully sat the couple in front of me asking them if they preferred a booth or table. It wasn't busy so when it was my turn I thought I'd get the same choice. She didn't greet or even look at me and told another host to put me in the back. ??? "I can only guess why". I was perturbed but just asked for my preferred seat. Hoping it was an isolated incident, it wasn't. The service was lackluster and unwelcoming. Our waitress left without telling us, the replacement brought the check without asking if we wanted anything else. We did...ordered a bloody Mary but didn't get the chaser, had to ask the bartender. The nacho chips were over fried and if guacamole is gold their avocado creme is tin. Just...why? The coleslaw was bland. However, the fried cod, fries, and MGD were good, but not good enough to ever go back. This was a poor, overpriced choice for meeting up with a friend.
Service was spot-on for my first ever visit. The blackened chicken sandwich was delicious! It was so flavorful with a kick! Cheesecurds absolutely slapped, too!
A cozy pub within the Hilton that has great food and drinks. The booths each have a fun collection of memorabilia within a glass case to look at. The beer comes in cute boot mugs. I wish their little gift shop had those mugs - would have bought one (Or if I just didn't look well enough, it gives me a great excuse to come back)! Our server, Brandon, was awesome as well.
Food was good, but slight delays since I went late at night during a convention weekend. If you're hungry and staying at the Hilton Milwaukee or nearby, this place has great American food, open until midnight and has sports playing in the TVs.Went by myself and sat at the bar, but the bartender managed a bunch of people really well! Definitely an option when you're looking for a place to eat!
We randomly stopped here after the museum because everything was closed. Really good food and the staff was very friendly. If I'm down town I would go back for a burger for sure.
Lucas the bartender was very attentive and offered good suggestions on the nice selection of brews! Food was good as well everything came out fresh and well flavored. One of the better options I have been to attached to a hotel.
