Amazing food and service! If you could taste a memory this would be the place to do so. My Grandma used to take me here over 30 years ago. Still the same excellent flavor, quality and value. Oh, and don't forget to order a malt?
Me and my husband ordered food to go and we had ordered it when we were right outside mind you we didn’t know they had parking in the back… We decided to walk inside and eat inside instead and asked the owner if it was okay to sit down and eat instead of taking it home.. he told us where to sit down and he didn’t look so happy about it then when we received our food he comes up to us saying “next time you can’t come in and eat here if you already order your food to go” that was disrespectful…. For being an owner to say that but again I’m Mexican and my husband is Mexican but dark skin i felt like he didn’t want us there. I will not be ordering food here again.
Great burgers, fries and malts. Super reasonable prices. Burger(huge), fries and a cup of soup for $7.35-$9.95. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
I definitely would have given this place five stars for their food. However today we came in and waited 15 minutes, and nobody waited on us. The guy, I assume the owner, was busy chit chatting with other people after he told us which table we could set at. And the waitress was more interested in cleaning up all of the dishes from the tables and the counter. So we left! (We did mention to the waitress that we had been waiting for 15 minutes. All she said was, "oh, sorry", but never made an attempt to wait on us at all. Really sad about it.)
This is one of *the* spots to get a burger in Milwaukee. It's small, cozy. It's been around for awhile and all the employees there are friendly. You pick from a variety of burgers or sandwiches and two sides, it's as simple as that. They don't ask you how you want it done and I'm okay with that because, I've been to places where they have and it never comes up the way you want. Because of the smaller dining area, you may have to wait but, they do carry out and flip tables pretty quick.Keep going, y'all! I love you!
Second time here I like the classic rock ‘n’ roll and personal service the homemade soup along with the burger and the American fries. And the chocolate malt

Great mom-and-pop place with a fun atmosphere. The burgers and shakes were great. I really enjoyed the bowl of chili and the “American fries”.
Great old fashioned burgers. I went there recently because I needed comfort food and they didn't disappoint. Service was great! Our server was an older gentleman and he was wonderful!
