It's so hard to choose from so many delicious choices. I usually get Italian Beef or Chili dog with comes with "sample" fries they give enough. I wish I had room for both or someone with me wanted the same & we could share. The service is fast, friendly, food is very fresh and hot. Pepsi is soda brand but no diet mountain dew so I just get water. Loaves of banana bread and other desserts that are so delicious and can be taken home to eat once you have more room.
The hot dogs were great fries were good too. Get some cheese sauce for extra deliciousness with the fries. Corn dog was one of the best I've had in a very long time!
I've been going to Martino's for25 years. It's my favorite restuarant to go to for comfort food. My two all time favorites are the Chicago dog and the Italian beef. Simply delicious. Love Martinos.
I've been going to this place since they had a mini golf course out in back. Very friendly staff. They have so much on the menu to choose from but my go to is the Chicago dogs. I have tried the fire dog as well. They always have a variety of home made cakes to choose from. Today I picked out strawberry one. Mmmmmmmmm.
Seriously good food, and at a reasonable price! Definitely coming back here! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful!
Everything is way better than you think it will be. Staff are incredibly friendly and always seem to be smiling and happy to work there and help you if you have questions. And the food and shakes are both incredibly excellent quality.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and clean spot! I did place an order for take out, everything looked fresh however the fries did taste stale. I lice about 8 mins away so the food was a little soggy so I would suggest eating dine in if you want it nice and hot! The prices were fair and I enjoyed my hot dog. The pizza puff was a little more oily (becomes soggy) than crisp but that could have been because it was sitting on the ride home. It is located off the highway so if your looking for a quick got dog fix this place is great for that!
So, I tried Martino's today for the first time today. I got to be honest the pictures of the Italian beef, my personal opinion, do not do it any justice. I'm always trying to find a place with an amazing Italian beef and I just got to say this sandwich speaks for itself. I would easily give it a 9 out of 10 rating and the only reason I wouldn't give it a 10 out of 10 is because instead of toasting the sandwich they toasted the bun. which I'm not exactly sure if they are even able to toast a sandwich. which if not, then I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. overall it had a great meat portion, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the flavor was immaculate. I will 100% be going back to get another one. I personally got it with the mozzarella cheese, no peppers, and auju on the side. but that's how I always do my Italian beef so if you do yours differently then I say go for it because I'm sure it'll still be out of this world.Edit* when there again to confirm my taste and it was amazing again.
First time visit and was looking for a true authentic Chicago style Italian beef sandwich. First impression was a very clean environment, plenty of staff and they were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Something hard to find these days! Ordered the Italian beef, french fries and breaded mushrooms. Fries and mushrooms great but Italian beef was very hard to eat, extremely soggy with way too much Au Jus. The flavor was good however; next time I will ask for less Au Jus! Prices of food a decent value and I will definitely will go back to try their Chicago style Hot dogs and the many other items they have to offer. A very well run place and look forward to my next visit!
I enjoy Martino’s. Their prices are affordable and they still deliver quality product! In my experience ordering here has been quick and easy, even when it’s busy. They have spaces to sit and eat, and when it’s warmer there’s a patio. I also love that they include fries!
