Great food with a relaxed atmosphere. Love this side of town.
I go to Lucky Ginger about three times a week. Their food is always hot, fresh tasting and I have not been disappointed. I usually eat the Massaman Curry, Veggie eggrolls, edamame, and Tom Kha soup. My husband gets the seafood Pud Thai. My daughter gets the Pho. We all enjoy the food.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My friend’s curry was nothing more than soup. My noodles had a slimy coating of some type of gravy. The broccoli was in large chunks and no knife was provided to cut it.
Had pad Thai and it was not very flavourful - added several lime wedges to help. My partner's drunken noodles, however, were excellent. It was a large menu (which always makes me skeptical) but given my partners delicious food I would probably try something else. Thai iced tea was decent. Nice short walk to the river which is lovely. Overall a satisfactory experience
Amazing Pad Thai!! If you like Spicy, level 3 to 5 are your answer when asked ? the sauce for the Veggie egg rolls make the egg rolls!! A little heavy on the black pepper in the egg roll but it was still good.
The Pho is always delicious. Great for lunch or even weekend brunch sitting at the bar!
Great food and chill/hip atmosphere. Very delicious food. Everything I have eaten here is awesome.. dumplings are worth the wait and tom kha is primo. Generous (very generous!!) portions. Recommend highly! Great service, very friendly and know their cuisine.
Waitress was super nice and friendly. Like others have stated, kitchen staff and the kitchen area is lacking cleanliness. But none of us got sick, so thats good...right? lol Pad thai was spicy which was strange, not bad, just not what I was expecting.
Honestly, some of the best food I’ve ever had in Milwaukee. But on top of the amazing food, the vibes are awesome. The staff members are super friendly and if you snag a seat at the bar you’ll more than likely end up chatting it up with some kind Milwaukee locals. Now back to the food. The chicken wings on the appetizer menu are *chef kiss* perfect. It’s always cooked perfectly every time with great flavor. With my second favorite appetizer being the squid. As for main dishes I always go for the drunken noodles, pad thai ( both dishes you can customize your spice level and add your choice of protein, I usually choose shrimp ) the Pho or the BBQ Salmon. Pick any of those dishes and I promise you won’t regret it.
One of the current staples in downtown MKE dining. Top 5 in all my friend’s and I’s favorite restaurants.. especially after a long weekend if you know what I mean!
