Always an electric, ecletic and eccentric place... And that's just those who attend! Honestly, very fun, lively and a fantastic place to enjoy some interesting choices of food and drink. Saturday early afternoons have their own kind of wonderment.

For years we passed Linneman's by, because it looked like a bar that would only offer greasy pub fare and nothing more. But numerous people recommended their Friday night fish fry and we finally gave it a try. It was friendly, diverse and delightful. This husband and wife run Friday night event gives you a real taste of the Friday Nigh Fish Fry Milwaukee tradition...done right. Ask the hostess seating you which is the preferred/recommended fish. She will not lead you astray. Be sure to order your fish fry with the potato pancakes and apple sauce. Also, if you are in the mood for a surf and turf there is a half ribs/half fish option. The owner starts the ribs the day before so they are tender and delicious.

Linneman's provides a great venue for local, up and coming musicians. I live a block away and visit often. A great asset for my neighborhood and Milwaukee's music scene. Jim Linneman is a gem of a guy.
