My best friend was in town and I have always wanted to try it so we went. Hands down it was some of the best custard I've had.No pictures of the food (sorry!) but I got the Tin Roof--vanilla with chocolate syrup and Spanish peanuts and an orange shake and she got a pineapple shake.Absolutely a must of you're in Milwaukee and need something cold and refreshing.
Cool little place for some custard.Stopped by after a Brewer's game with the family. It was a little chilly and windy outside, so everyone was getting to go orders or sitting in their cars. I imagine this place is jumping in the summer. The custard was good, as was the service. While I don't think it is a must to go here when in town, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back.
We weren't the only ones in line on a 40 degree day, this place was busy! The custard is creamy and perfect and the toppings are fresh. Delicious!
Are you in Milwaukee or close to it we'll you HAVE to stop at Leon's custard no matter what weather/temps its not an issue don't be surprised if there a line even if it's freezing outside I suggest butter pecan but feel free to try any flavor you like.
Love leons ice cream every time i visit Milwaukee i have to eat this as much as i can have. Always fresh not too sweet my fave is raspberry. This time I tried bluemoon its not much different than vanilla u can hardly tell the difference. From shakes i tried hot fudge shake it was good better than the chocolate one. They always wait till the last sec to close the window. Love their service.
We stopped by here about 10 years ago on a siblings cross country road trip. We have an uncle here so we swing by to check out the Milwaukee. It was during August so our uncle took us here with the promise of it being the best frozen custard we’ll ever try. True to his words it was the perfect treat on a hot summer day.Cut to 2021 and we’re back for another siblings trip to see our uncle and the Packers up in Green Bay. This time we arrived in late November with snow already on the ground. Even with the cold weather, we didn’t want to leave Milwaukee without a stop at Leon’s. Still as delicious as it was 10 years ago!Definitely worth a stop. Maybe we’ll see ya’ll again in another 10 years:)
Another favorite and must do place when I visit family in Milwaukee. I stick to the vanilla - but my son loved the chocolate. I have not met my 100 character minimum. Go - and enjoy - even on the coldest days!
Stopped by on a cold November morning and even with the low temps, it was still delicious. It's a Milwaukee staple and definitely work a visit.
Great place to visit if a Happy Days fan. Very nostalgic. Felt like Fonzie was going to pull up on his motorbike. Great vanilla malts too.
This has always been a fantastic place to get frozen custard. I've been visiting since I was a child. Their flavors are always good, and they have a variety of flavors that you can get a pint of, even if they aren't serving it from the machine that day.Service has always been good. Everyone is friendly and professional.
