The best Thai food in Milwaukee. No frills but the flavor is on point! Love the pad thai, curries, crab Rangoon, Tom kha, and fried rice
Best Pud See Ew I've ever had. Red Curry Chicken was spectacular. Pricey but you get a lot, more than any other Thai restaurant in the area. 4 meals of leftovers.
Delicious food! We ordered crab Rangoon, pad Thai and shrimp jungle curry. Great combination and absolutely satisfying!
I cannot believe this place. I usually never leave reviews but this one was special. I picked up curry fried rice for dinner. Went home and opened the packaging. Even before I could take a bite, I saw hair in the food. I brought the food back, not a single bite taken, and the lady complained that the chef is bald. She opened the food, saw the hair, and offered me a refund in cash (I paid with card). She gave me the cash but one dollar less. I asked why, and she said it's because the credit card company charges them. NOT MY PROBLEM! I asked for my dollar and she finally gave me but told me how bad things happen to me because I'm bad, referring to my story earlier when I picked up the food (I was having a rough day). She told me to leave and never come back. I am so stunned. The hair, let me just say, was not from the head. I cannot believe it. I get that restaurants can’t be perfect, but the hair was way too gross. But even more, offering me to give my money back less than what I paid? When I didn’t even take a single bite? Telling me I’m a bad person for asking for my money back? Unbelievable.
What a gem! Someone recommended it to us. The food and ingredients are fresh. Excellent flavors. And they take spice seriously! We got levels 6 and 8 — very spicy which we love. Their vegetable and tofu options had good variety. We have been to Thailand a couple times and this food really hits the spot. The owners are very nice, too.
Truly the best Thai food I've had in Milwaukee. If you like it hot, they've got you covered. Everything I've had here is fantastic. Make sure to get sticky rice and a Thai tea!
Great Thai! I came about about 7:30 and they were closing up for the night, I was graciously let in! We got curry, spice 10 I asked for Thai spicy. I was happy with the trip! :)
Whew! SPICY SPICY - YUMMY - TAKEOUT.**Updated review: my #1 recommendation for good food in Milwaukee. Changing my 4 stars to 5 stars!!**My coworkers ordered takeout for lunch and recommended I try it. I called and placed my order for red curry and was told it would be 20 min. A previous review said that a level 10 spicy is through the roof and they ordered a level 3. I naively assumed my tolerance for spicy food was superior and decided to go with an 8 because I can’t enjoy a meal if it isn’t spicy enough. The 8 was WAY TOO SPICY. By the grace of God I found oat milk in my fridge and was able to dilute it to a 5-6 spice level. Honestly, it was tolerable at that point but still too spicy to really enjoy the meal.When I pulled up to the restaurant, the door was locked, the open sign was off and no one picked up my call. I almost panicked that because I was a few minutes late and it was exactly 6pm, that they were in fact closed. Google said open until 8:30pm so I called again and the woman working there unlocked the door and let me in to pay (it’s takeout only, she was probably in the back and missed the call/didn’t see me at the door). She was very pleasant and based on our brief conversation, I will definitely be spending my money at this business- next time I’m starting at a level 3 spicy and a different meal and I hope to give an updated review. Truly a local gem. Finally, good takeout! I’m new to the area and I’ve been underwhelmed by most recommendations.
The workers are super friendly, but the food isn’t the freshest. They are only doing take out right now.
The food has nice flavor. I'm pretty sure there's bbq sauce in the red curry sauce, which is fine. It's just not a particularly thai ingredient. My main issue is that the pork in my pad thai was overcooked and chewy. I shouldn't have to pick chunks of fat/cartilage out of my mouth every other bite. For $13+ dollars, this is bogus.
