This location has some of the nicest staff. They are always apologetic and make things right when something is wrong, or they're out of certain ingredients. The other day I ordered, and they were out of my usual Vito. They substituted turkey and bacon for me, and even gave me a complimentary cookie and soda. Love getting a sandwich here on my lunch—fresh and quick! Say what you want, but these people are awesome and do the best they can during the busiest times. This is always one of my go-tos for this reason.
Rude red haired manager, called in for pick up 10 minutes before I arrived. Had to wait 20 minutes in shop for my food. literally 3 people before me just ordered right in the spot and they got their suns before me. called back to talk go the manager she was very unprofessional and snarky. why would you allow people to call in before hand to have your sub done right on the spot . makes no sense .
last night I ordered a sandwich, took 45 mins to deliver 3 mins away, buzzed the driver into my building, & my hall is so long I always meet the driver...he never came. So I go downstairs to check the lobby, nothing. I come back upstairs & my phone is ringing, it's the driver, already back at the store, rudely telling me I "never buzzed him in", & my food was left downstairs. I asked where, & he started yelling at me like I was an idiot, saying "no one was around when I dropped it off", "open your eyes & look for it", "sounds like a personal problem" & then hung up on me when I requested a refund, after I also requested for him not to speak to me like that. I go back downstairs, looking everywhere...it was OUTSIDE on my building steps, like he just threw it out the window of his car. Angry but hungry, I sit to eat it...& it's literally a thin piece of roast beef, lettuce, mayo & 2 thin slices of cucumber. I was missing tomatoes, cheese, oil & vin, onions, the rest of my cucumber, mustard, oregano. it was an original, they basically didn't even give me a slim. I called the store today to complain about his actions, & didn't offer me a refund, just a free sandwich. I asked if someone could talk to the driver (I've had several issues with him, it's the older super rude bald dude on Holt Ave in Milwaukee fyi) & the "manager" said if I wanna write a complaint, I asked where, & he said he didn't know. Then told me they don't do refunds. This is now on top of a pile of several other issues I've had (my son likes JJs or I'd have stopped ordering already, now I'm completely done with this place) with this store. Absolutely boycott, sorry not sorry.
We've been waiting almost 2 hrs for our online order. When I called, was told they were made and just waiting for a driver. Lesson learned - never again.
The worst Jimmy Johns. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Delivery is always an hour or two late and order is usually wrong. I have ordered from here for the last time. They really should just shutter this location.
Forget the negative reviews about late delivery. Some people must not understand that every place is desperate for help. Be patient! I ordered late thinking it would be faster, but not the case. But I understood that they must be short staffed. So I just made sure my order would be at my house within the time they were open (it was). They even gave me a large drink instead of regular. Kudos to the employees for hanging in there and putting up with Karen's and Kevin's.
I ordered delivery of a sandwich combo. My drink was was a sweet tea I ordered a cherry coke I didn’t receive my Bbq chips at all. They didn’t inform me about a $5 delivery charge I gave the driver $4 and my order was not completed. Inform customers of the delivery charge
Ordered an hour ago, called to check the status and was told it hasn’t gone out for delivery yet we’re completely overwhelmed. I asked if they had an idea of when it would be going out and was just told I have no idea what so ever.I understand things happen, but at least be courteous about it. Maybe offer an apology and say we’re trying to get deliveries out as quick as we can.Whoever answered the phone just seemed annoyed that I was checking on the order.
This has got to be the worst JJ's out there. We work nearby and often choose to drive to the one on 27th because delivery from here is unpredictable at best. My car is in the shop and I foolishly ordered delivery. Delivery took over an hour and the sandwich was not made according to the customizations made, so it was fairly barren of a sandwich, especially since I had to peel off tomatoes that were requested to be taken off and were on the mayo. Save yourself the bother. If this is the location that delivers to you. Take the time to drive to the one on 27th.
I was very disappointed today when I ordered a sandwich and chips from this Jimmy Johns solely because I didn't want to go out. I took them 1 hour and 10 minutes to get my sandwich to me and I got the sandwich after I called the store a second time to tell them I didn't want it because their driver, who had called me at 45 minutes out asking where I was located. From what I could tell he was at a wrong door to the building my office is located in. I gave him instructions as to where he should enter and after an additional 20 minutes he arrived. My receptionist took my order and I did enjoy the sandwich, however, by the time it was finally received, my lunch hour had been over. Will have to decide if I will call for delivery in the future. No reason was given either time I spoke to the store as to why it was taking so long. I understand staff shortages, but if that is the case, a notice on the website would help in a customer's decision making.
