The food was good and hearty portions. My first time going to a Jamaican restaurant and plantain wasn't a standard side item with a combo entree. And I was really disappointed that at 7:30pm, there was only one entree left on the menu, everything else had been sold out. For a business, that's a good problem, but for customers, that's a major disappointment. Call before you go.
The ladies were very nice. I appreciate they're still following covid safety protocols. I've been waiting to try them for a while now but the hours were not consistent. The food was ok it would have been great without a heavy salt hand. The more I ate the saltier it seemed to get. I'll try them again because it seems like a nice, clean, roomy place to sit and enjoy a meal
The food is Delicious. Good Taste made from scratch is like eating at home. I will recommend this Restaurant to any one to come and try. Let's help small business in the area is truly necessary as being part of a community to support each other. God Bless the business and all who comes to eat in this place. Amen
This is the best Jamaican restaurant in Milwaukee. Hands down. This place make everything the natural way. Not out of the box like other Jamaican restaurant do. The lady is so nice and most of all she know how to cook.
Horrible! DO NOT RECOMMEND! I ordered a curry and jerk dinner. The curry was dry & did not taste like curry at all the rice and beans was terrible. The jerk was just flat out nasty!
I would never come back, the sister that’s a cashier is so rude and disrespectful and talking slick when she’s in the wrong and leaving voicemails on my phone because she didn’t communicated and had me waiting for 15 minutes and outside for my food that i had order at 5:30pm today and running out the door like she wants to fight LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER ??
I visit here weekly! Best tasting cabbage and meat of all the Jamaican places in the area. They will always get my business!
Customer service is great !i the jerk chicken and the Oxtail is to die for , love the rice and peas and the cabbage is finger licking I hope this restaurant stay around for a long time,sorry but they are the best in town!!!
I wish I could speak to the food but when I got there at 330 which is when they were supposed to be open and they weren't! I waited about 15mins I saw someone else go in so I tried going in and the lady rudely told me the food wasn't done yet and turned and walked away
My new favorite in the area. I got the large curry chicken dinner, everything was fresh & flavorful...absolutely delicious! Big portions @ a very reasonable price. The lady(im guessing the owner), was really nice & engaging. Tasty ethnic food, small business, good people & located in the area...make this the exact place i root for & want to support. The dining room(which is supposed to open soon), is very aesthetically pleasing & will only add to the overall experience.
