The evening was perfect: the table looking out on Lake Michigan, amazing food, the servers had extensive knowledge of the wine and oysters and were so kind. Couldnât have asked for a better evening!

We had an excellent experience at Harbor House. We had a table next to a window. Both the service and food was excellent. We told the waitress it was our anniversary and she brought us two deserts and were not charged for them. It was a wonderful evening!!!!
Hostess seemed to be rushing us to our table (we specifically arrived 30mins earlier than reservation time in order to relax at the bar for a bit). She suggested cashing out our bar tab prior to our drinks being delivered, which gave the impression they were attempting to flip the table in order to accept additional reservations/walk ins. The octopus appetizer was bland, and Oysters Rockefeller had an odd, almost bitter aftertaste, as well as being slightly underdone. The scallops were cooked perfectly, as were our filets. Servers were polite and bartenders were well trained.
This place is a class act. We have ate there many times over the years and we are treated like family every time we go there.
Wonderful location. Food itself not worth the price, but overall experience is what you are paying for.
I had visitors from out of country with me and Chef Martin knocked it out of the park! Halibut, Scallops, Salmon, shelfish soup, and the Calamari were all perfectly. Service did not leave anyone wanting for anything the entire meal. Great job!
