food was good. Service fine, could have been cleaner, fresh paint. Condiment packets, no Cucumber sauce....
I have always had great service at the gyro stand I've been coming here for years.
We love the Gyros Stand. I chose the Greek salad with gyro meat. It's the best. Generous servings.
I already love getting a gyro from her, they always give you so much meat you won't be hungry after eating. I had the chicken kabob and gyro combo and I loved the seasoning on the chicken.
Have been going here since it has opened. Now my son and I are going.... That's an awesome feeling. Love the food!!!! Great family atmosphere.
This is all one of my favorite Euro spots in the Milwaukee area. They always make the euros fresh and everything always tastes really good.
Unfortunately the worst gyros in Milwaukee. Quite greasy always and their feta reminds me of provolone... Granted gyros should be greasy food, when compared to any other restaurant it's clear as day why you say hello to the bathroom after gyro stand gyros. Cash only is fine but in combination with their "we don't care anymore" interior furnishings and dilapidated appearance it adds to the overall perception of being super cheap and corner cutting. I wish the corner gyro stand was decent. I go 10+ minutes further out of my way for good gyros and it's absolutely worth it. They always seem to be paying some 16 year olds minimum wage as well. Please reinvigorate your business with some pride.
Lots of people standing around waiting for orders. Incredibly slow service. Service and food not like it used to be. The gyro place on Layton will be my go to gyro shop from now on.
Fantastic little neighborhood Greek place, the first time I went there was over 30 years ago and I always remember the great food and very tasty shakes, malts, and Sundaes. All of your food is prepared to order, 5-10 minute wait if you order at the counter, you can also call ahead, or get delivery from GrubHub. There is a fairly extensive menu and great order customization. Of course the namesake gyro sandwich, chicken and beef shishkabobs, seven specialty burgers, fortunately even the plain hamburger or cheeseburger is great. Chicago dogs are more than decent, except not served on the traditional poppy seed bun. Also very delicious chili dogs and if you ask for raw onions they will give you plenty. The gyro and shishkabob sandwiches have two upgrades, supreme (extra meat) and deluxe (extra meat and grilled vegetables) The dinners are where options abound, they all include a small Greek salad, fries, and a drink, you can also get rice instead of fries, or instead of salad or, all rice, all salad, or all fries. You can also get combos of chicken, beef, and gyro meat all together or just two meats. They also have great appetizers too, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, eggplant fries, breaded mushrooms, and extremely tasty and crispy onion rings. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive, a very clean and well kept seating area. I think there are 8 or 9 booths and 3 tables. Not a huge place but a very open feeling due to the curved atrium windows. Very 80s decor kind of takes me back to the high school days when I first started going here.
Some of the best gyros in Milwaukee hands down! A little pricey, but their portions are large. A lot of variety and a clean 50s aesthetic for the people that like to pretend! Also very festive and they hire good workers.
