Having traveled all across the continental United States, and several nations I can say wholeheartedly that the greek food here at Gyro MKE hits home in a way only food produced with love and passion can. I'm deeply envious that I can't simply walk out my front door and take my time here any day of the year. Keep doing what you do, keep making food an experience!
My friends and I were on a brief walk from the museum nearby for some lunch and we noticed this little place tucked away by the street corner. Having tasted amazing traditional Greek food from my late grandfather, I was eager to give it a try.I ordered the traditional Gyro, add kalamata olives, and the gyro fries adding tzatziki sauce and kalamata olives. The experience was amazing. Service was quick and professional and the presentation was amazing.The gyro meat was as authentic as you can get, fresh off the spit and brimming with flavor. The food brought a literal tear to my eye. It reminded me so fondly of my grandfather who was so proud of his native heritage and dishes. I myself am from Eau Claire, so the drive is long but I would absolutely be back. Thank you for this breathtaking experience.

This is the most consistent food I've had. I've been in here when it's slow...the food turns out delicious. I was here again today and it was filled with guests. My food still turned out the same way as always...Delicious. It's one thing for a chef/cook to make great food. It takes another kind of skill to be consistent even during busy service.
How is it that this place doesn't have a line waiting around the corner 24/7???The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly personable and nice and the restaurant is super clean and welcoming.I went there Wednesday and today on Friday and my experience only improved. Thank you

Super good, gyro we had were gigantic! A ton of meat on it. You could definitely split it between 2 people, and it was our first time being there cause my fiance and I are from out of town. Definitely will go back again!!!
Had a Greek salad, chicken kabob and corn nuggets with baklava for dessert. Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Was in and out in under 25 minutes. Great experience
