I've been going here since I was a young one. At least 35 years. Gorditas are the best. Best kept secret would be their lemonade. Way back when they did the nachos with the nacho cheese and was my go to dish. I have NEVER been disappointed here and the staff are always the best. I almost always see the same owner bust at work as always!
This place is clean and charming. The food is fantastic. Go here to be pleasantly surprised cause everything is so good!!!
This is literally the best food I have ever tasted, they have made me a fan of the Spanish rice.

I visited this place a couple times a few months ago. The first time the service was okay and the food was good.The second time was a total different experience. Me and my partner ordered our appetizer but then when we ordered our main dish, they only brought my partner her food and I thought my food would come after, I was wrong. The place was super busy, so I waited and waited for a waitress to come to our table, she never did, our table was totally ignored, never asked if the food was good or if we needed anything else.My partner finished her food and at that point I just wanted to leave the place for such a terrible service, so we asked for our bill and of course they wanted to charge me for the dish they NEVER brought, I complained to the person who was in charge first about the food they never brought to our table and second why they were charging me for that food. All she said was "I'm sorry" (in Spanish) and took the dish off the bill. That's all, no discount, no explanation why they never brought my food, nothing.
My husband talks about the soup (Caldo de Res) with great anticipation. During the pandemic we ordered it multiple times.

Everything was amazing. I had the pozole, felt like i was in my grandma kitchen. The salsas were great. Tostadas and tacos were good. Overall everything I tasted had great taste. Service was great!
Well we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant but..service was awful. We were seated and never got a chance to put in a drink order. There were customers that got there after us and had chips and salsa and drinks. Very very disappointed. We left after sitting there for at least 15 min..maybe longer. Place is very tiny also so glad we left. Came to Cielito Lindo and service is 110% better. Also very roomy and tables are very spaced out.
