My friend and I ended up here on a Saturday night when the wait was too long at the Mexican joint down the street. I am so glad we did! Very friendly and charming fellow behind the counter. I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger medium rare and it was AMAZING! Great experience, delicious burgers and fun employees. Will definitely go again.
Gordo Burger is by far above and beyond any and all burger places in and around the Bay View area. The service was impeccable, and the burger.... I cannot even find words that would do their food justice.All I can do is suggest that if you like burgers to give them a try you will not be sorry, in fact you will more likely than not to become a regular customer. Don't take my word for it stop in and see for yourself how well the food is made and how fast and friendly the service is.
We ate at Gordo Burger for the first time last night before the Elton John concert and it was amazing! Clean, pleasant, fun atmosphere. Nice bar. We both had the Big Swiss burger. Both burgers were big, juicy and cooked perfectly. We also had the seasoned waffles fries and they were delicious! The service was wonderful - super fast & very friendly. Cleo gave us great recommendations! Would 10/10 recommend Gordo Burger to anyone wanting an amazing gourmet burger and at a great price.
My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new today and we stumbled upon Gordo Burger. INCREDIBLE burgers with a wide array of toppings to choose from at a reasonable price. The service was very quick and the employees were super friendly! I would absolutely recommend stopping by this family-owned restaurant next time you go out.
Gordo burger has tons of flavor, perfectly toasted brioche bun, and those waffle fries! Get the waffle fries!
Really liked the build your own Waygu burger here. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Worth checking this one out.
At first we thought it would not be good because there was no one there but they might have a lot of carry out orders and lunchtime crowds. The burger was delicious!! The onion rings were delicious!! We will return!!
Completely unprofessional business. Ordered food for carryout during their hours of operation for pickup. Business charges my card, gives me an approximate pickup time for order, and they're not open...at 11:29 AM on a Friday. The door is locked the lights are off, and not a soul inside. This is the third time I've personally experienced this, as well as acquaintances having similar situations. Never ordering from them again. Done. Now I have to dispute charges.
Not Much To Say. Small But Nice Interior. Nothing Fancy. But Nice. I Ordered The Beef/Lamb Kofta Burger..Solid Burger. Strong Lamb Taste, Good Flavor & Seasoning. A Heap Of Fries! But I Have To Dip My Fries In BBQ Sauce & They Don't Have Any So I Didn't Eat Many Of Them. Nothing To Hold Against Them. That's All Me. Worth A Try! Would Likely Return To Try A Build Your Own.
I ate here once, around when it first opened, my friend mentioned this place and I realized I never left a review. Extremely overpriced for less than mediocre food. This is the kind of place you'd expect by the college or near the bars for drunks who don't care how much they are paying a plain (which it sounds like they aren't but they are) burger. I can't see this place lasting here for very long, nobody I know that's tried it thought it was worth it. Oscars has better burgers than this place.
