Super cute place. Like that they change up the menu and food is made fresh. The oyster mushrooms were delicious except I did not care for the sweet and sour sauce they had drizzled on them. I would have asked for it on the side.
Always a go to spot but Tuesday Burger Night will not disappoint. Same exceptional hospitality and food, different night, consistently my favorite in Bay View and Milwaukee alike.
A low-key place for brunch or cocktails, with great service and above average food. Space is limited, might want to make reservations for holidays or special occasions. We went for Easter brunch and got dinner and a show - the bartender was stirring and shaking at the same time! Pretty impressive. Very close to the lakefront, and eclectic shops on Kinnickinnic Avenue. A hidden gem in Bay View.

Our best friend from London flew in and WOW the food was amazing!?Biggest highlight is the SEARED TROUT, nice and soft yet crispy on the outside with simple pairings fennel, potatoes, bibb salad + thousand island dressing. Literally melts in your mouth every bite?second highlight is BEEF CHILLI POUTINE - they recommended it and they always change the toppings/pairings for the poutine every week. With the chilli, + egg, + beer battered fries & curds, you had every texture & richness bite by bite without losing the structure & role that each ingredient playedOthers included?BRUNCH RISOTTO - had cheddar + bacon, nice & creamy with the poached egg on top?DANISH PANCAKES stuffed with Gouda & raspberry chocolate jam. Soft & fluffy, + well balanced?AVOCADO TOAST - with sourdough?RESTORATIVE BROTH - wheat noodles with a spicy meat broth & chicken. Broth I think uses fresh chillies and had lots of depth (bone, basil, etc). Would love this if I was hungover haha ?Overall a FANTASTIC meal. I usually don't focus too too much on service but they are just amazing - very attentive, kind, typical Midwest +more ?you can book on @exploretock and ensure you have a seat/booth (given the space is smaller & bit more intimate). Would love to go back again especially for dinner & to try their summer menus
This place is just the best. Ambiance on point-lots of plants, long horseshoe bar, window into the kitchen. Excellent cocktails! We got 2 small plates (Brussel sprout salad & fried oyster mushrooms) and a large plate (spicy crab bucatini). Every flavor and texture profile was perfect. The staff are plesant and professional-hard to find in this era of short staffing. Lovely experience.

It was our first time there and it just so happened to be a special occasion. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. First and foremost, the servers and staff were truly amazing and IMHO went above and beyond. Thank you. The house cocktails were exquisite, the small plates were delicious and the main plates were exceptional. I highly recommend this Bay View gem and will be frequenting them soon.
Food !!!! Compliments to the Chefs! Amazing! Staff and Service Clearly understands what "Survival of the Fittest " actually means!! This is a team that has raised the level of excellence to match the challenges of these times!! Raise your glass to their long and continued Success, while sadly,so many other restaurants are closing!! From Our party of nine - thank you ! This was not just another night out , it was a special celebration, and Goodkind helped make it Special and Memorable !! We will be back!
It was alright but for the price of a bloody Mary and a measly small celery stick inside to show their worth, yeah idk. I had to get a proper one elsewhere. No pickles or olives. Thats not a Wisconsin bloody Mary. I'm sure they had quality ingredients but I was not impressed.
