Burgers are really good, from the bun to the seasoning of the patty!!! Fries are also good!! Chicken tenders are regular - nothing too special. Custard is also pretty good - in my opinion the custard is better then Culver's but not better then Leon's (that's top competition though). Only downfall is there's outside seating only but the food is worth it! And it's great for a made to order grab and go.
Friendly staff. I underestimated the cheeseburger. So glad I didn't get the triple,.. Couldn't even finish the double The bun was moist. Pickle slices were thick! Beef patties were good, still juicy and not overcooked. Loved the crunch of the fries. Only disappointment was the custard. I was expecting it to taste better. Just tasted like ordinary, nothing special about it, type of custard. Overall, food filled me up.
Fred’s is the best place in my area for burgers. Way better than most of the famous burgers in the city of Milwaukee. Alex and Sam are phenomenal at running the business. Alex always remembers us and what we usually order. I always get a delicious and fresh burger just the way I like it. It is so juicy and tasty. In fact, I love it so much, when they opened for the season this year, I was the first person to place and pick up my order. I eat here at least once a week and usually twice a week. It is that delicious. Highly recommended.

Gotta love their food. Great burgers cheese curds basically everything on the menu. Wish it was sit in but still a great place to get a bite to eat. Would most definitely recommend to anyone.

I only had the frozen custard and it is tremendous! Leon's is the best frozen custard/ice cream in the state of WI. Fred's frozen custard is superb and actually is in Leon's league! Eventually I'm going to have to try the burgers at Fred's, if they're any good as the frozen custard they'll be some of the best in the Milw area.

Great little spot on West Vliet. Reubens & burgers are fantastic! Fries are good too.
Really good food and service. Best burger in the West Allis/ West Milwaukee/Tosa area hands down!
