Fresh ingredients making this very tasty. The zucchini Croquettes they were fabulous. The pizza was ok. Not my favorite style. The crust was a bit chewy and not allot of flavor. I personally think that the truffle shuffle would be better on Naples style crust. But that’s my opinion. The drinks and atmosphere were great. Want to go back and try more appetizers. The prices were also fair.
After several orders it’s easily one of the best pizzas in the city! The uniqueness and creativity that goes into their pies is one of a kind. The cheesy garlic sticks might be the best on the planet.Everyone of their appetizers are a must.Although branded as pizza as the foundation their sandwiches could stand alone.Chicken and Meatball Sandos are mind blowing.Their Fancy Burger could rival any burger in the city.Don’t be shy when you order because you will delightfully be surprised!
I found this place near the hotel where I’m staying and it was amazing. The service and the pizza was great, everyone was super friendly and chatty. They also have a huge bar so if you’re wanting to have a drink they have plenty of options. I went with daddy’s pizza and it was delicious. It has a kick to it but, not too bad. I will definitely check it out again!
My husband and I have been going to Third Coast for years and are in love with anything and everything the owners create. We were ecstatic when they started making pizza! Their Curd Your Enthusiasm frozen pizza is available at Sendiks and we lived on it until they opened the official restaurant.Located in the old Distilled spot on Milwaukee, parking is near impossible. I thought I’d be running in and out so I didn’t want to use valet, but they did have the option! It was 5:30 on a Thursday and I got lucky finding one on the block. If you come on the weekend, you’ll want to use Valet. The atmosphere is inviting, cozy, and hip. There is not a ton of seating but they did a great job of utilizing their space. I sat at their spacious bar and ordered a delicious margarita. I had ordered my dinner ahead of time through their website. I received a text that it would be ready at 5:25 but it wasn’t. I think it was a glitch in the system because two others came in for their food, which was ready on time. I believe they ordered through Door Dash, which seems to be more reliable.I was able to make my pizza “lightly baked” which was great because I live 35 minutes away. They sliced it, which is unusual because assembling it on the pan was annoying but they had a crisper in the box and maybe I could put that right in the oven? They had baking instructions but nothing about how to pan the pizza. The buffalo mac & cheese came in two boxes, one for Buffalo chicken and one for the mac & cheese. I really appreciated this. They do a great job of packaging to go orders. The quality of the food was amazing. We started with the cheesy garlic sticks. I didn’t realize that they are stuffed with cheese, wow! Excellent. I wanted a classic pizza so I ordered their Club Banger which came with pepperoni and Calabrian honey. Absolutely amazing. The crust was flakey yet chewy, in a good way. It had a ton of flavor and I took at least five more bites after I was completely stuffed. We also ordered their buffalo mac & cheese which was very good. It’s overshadowed by the pizza. Unless you are a huge mac & cheese fan, I would save as much stomach space as possible for their pizza.I was in love with this dinner, which was not at all surprising. I cannot wait to go back for their other options. Next on my list is the Crab Rangoon Delight and Return of the Mac.This place is a 10/10. Make love, eat pizza!
Cool space. Friendly staff. And truly great pizza that isn’t exactly like every other pizza place. Don’t let the slightly higher than normal prices fool you, they use quality ingredients that are totally worth it. The 3 day sourdough crust and great ingredients all come together perfectly on a slightly thick, chewy crust. We tried four different pies and they were all great. Will definitely be back.
Awesome pizza and a great atmosphere. They have a great selection of “craft pizzas” but you also have the ability to build your own pizza with a wide selection of high quality toppings. The toppings and the crust are just two of the things that set Flourchild apart from other pizza places in town. The appetizers and salads are excellent. The homemade dressings and sauces make all the difference.Lastly, the atmosphere is I think my favorite part. I believe this place has the potential to become a true long-term gem in the Milwaukee scene. Funky with eclectic art and music yet refined with that old pizza place charm - strained glass accents on comfy seating booths, butcher block tables, etc. The kinda place you could have a couple drinks or pizza at in between bar hopping or bring your wife and kiddos to for a family pizza night. It’s rare to find a restaurant with that much versatility in the downtown area. Truly unique and special.
The menu is so well thought out that we had to order a bunch of appetizers and pizzas because we couldn’t decide as a family what we wanted. It was all delicious. I even took some for coworkers the next day and they loved it equally. To top off the amazing food, I also had a Banana bourbon drink that was done extremely well.
You simply have to get the Doritos Locos pizza. Overall, a really awesome and fun place. On the expensive side for pizza, but the end product lives up to the price. Looking forward to going back!
Outstanding service, beautiful space, delicious food and cocktails/mocktails. I look forward to making my way through their menu this summer.
The pizza was really good but the ranch flights were not (why is there so much dill??) plus the crab ragoon sticks were too fishy for me. The cheese sticks are great though. Would definitely order from here again but just the pizza and sticks.
