I’ve been to Fairgrounds several times now and always appreciate the quality of their coffees, lattes as well as the variety of menu items. Great place for weekend coffee and breakfast without feeling like you ruined your diet for the day. Small touches like extra tortilla melted together with cheese to keep them from tearing, and a pretty solid salsa show they make the extra effort. Will definitely be back.
Such a cute place with a great vibe! The staff was very pleasant and the coffee was great. They had regular water and sparkling water one tap and the sparkling was actually good! We go the Vietnamese cold brew (recommend) and the sticky chai (very good, but a little weak). Overall very nice and they had swings you could sit on!
The food was good, I enjoyed the avocado toast although they had run out of the radish relish. I tried an elixir tea drink. I was thinking it would have been a bit larger for the price. They only take credit or debit so you cannot use cash. We had twin two year olds with us. I couldn't find booster seats and no one offered us an option for the toddlers to sit comfortably.
This is a delightful coffee & tea café. The vibe is rustic and urban. There are a variety of seating options with ample outlets, making it an enjoyable setting for doing work. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the couch and reading. The café offers a variety of coffee drinks, tea (hot or iced), or elixirs. There was also two types of kombucha on tap at the time of my visit. If it is still there when you visit, I recommend the lavender kombucha! The café also has a menu of noshes, including vegetarian and vegan options. Stop in today and take some time to chill.
Power Flower Milk Tea Elixir tastes great. I love the color. The Vosges Chocolate Truffle Mocha was sub par. I know that it was supposed to taste like coffee but it was too overpowering that the chocolate disappeared after the second sip.
Great staff, amazing coffee and a great place to work!
This place is just perfect for a nice low-key meal or drink! The ladies there were absolutely amazing and our drinks were made perfectly! There wasn't a long wait at all and they were very informative. If there was something you wanted they didn't have they will accommodate to something close you would like. The atmosphere is so rustic and laid back, made me want to pop open a book and drink more tea.
I love fairgrounds! I used to live right next door and even though i moved a little farther, I still make the drive there because I prefer their coffee over any other place! And the employees are the best! Especially Vanessa and the tall gentleman with dark hair, I honestly don’t remember his name, I’m sorry! But he’s been there a while
Fairgrounds Coffee is a real cool coffee shop in the Lower East Side of MKE. Customer service is exceptional and they're more than happy to help! Their menu is really unique and has a lot of great options from classic breakfast to new takes on classics. Has a great atmosphere for a get together with friends, a spot to grab a casual coffee or to settle into some work as well. Great spot!
This is the third time I have come in here! I recommended the Lox Platter and Vietnamese Cold Brew. I got two of the cold brews because of how amazing the flavors were.
