My cousin‘s wife recommended this restaurant, having lived in Milwaukee for four years or so. Excellent choice! To overuse the phrase, this restaurant has a nice vibe. Upscale, cozy, and not stuffy. Seemed to have quite a few locals, which is always a good sign. I chose to sit at the bar. Glad I did. Jennifer, my server, was friendly, and made a nice experience better. Highly recommend the Moscow Mule, which was pretty much the best Moscow Mule I’ve ever had (or that I remember having). I had the broccoli appetizer, which is called something like just broccoli, blanched, slightly fried, with a sweetish dipping sauce. Really good! Pork chop, with asparagus and potatoes was also delicious. Nice size portion. Thanks Jennifer for substituting the asparagus for the broccoli, since I had my fill of broccoli as an appetizer. Good coffee too. Very enjoyable meal. If I lived in this town I would frequent this place. Ask for Jeniffer. See photo. She seemed legitimately interested in making sure that the drink and food was as anticipated.

Stopped in on a Friday night, it was crowded but we didn't have to wait long. I had the best medium well pattymelt that I've had in a long time. Staff was great; worth the tip. I would recommend for a night out with friends, but not intimidate and cozy.

Fresh and aesthetically pleasing decor. Delicious food - we had the Portobello Mushroom sandwich, the BLT and the Beet and Feta salad. Topped with a top-notch martini and a very good waiter, Alex - stopping here before a show at the Riverside was a great idea! Food came very quickly, parking was easy to find on the same block right after 5pm on a Tuesday but filled up fast. Not my first visit and definitely won't be the last!

On April 01, 2022, after being recommended and accompanied by one of the employees of the restaurant, my company and local employees living in the area decided to have dinner here. The food and our server were wonderful but I had an experience with the manager that I will not soon forget causing the entire evening to be ruined and frankly still very upsetting. The restaurant was very busy and my party of three sat down at roughly 7:05 PM in the center of the restaurant's left side of the bar. We had ordered appetizers, and drinks, and the evening started out rather well.At or around 8:00 PM our main dish came and I received word two others would be joining us. Having asked our waiter, he said this was fine. I grabbed a chair next to the table we had been sitting at and was stopped by who I later found out to be the manager his name has been removed in accordance with review yelp guidelines. When he stopped me he looked be very angry, I approached him and asked if I did something wrong his response"You are loud, we are busy, I have other people waiting, and we are only tolerating you because you're with that (N-word) name -who is an employee- (He also went on to insult me and the employee I was with). Most notable, he said to "pay your check and get out"Rather upset, I asked three other restaurant staff what I was missing, if something had happened. They all apologized on his behalf even offering to comp our meal which we insisted not be done. A customer also noticed what happened and he could not believe what he witnessed and took place.I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant or encountered someone as rude as this "manager" I will be reaching out to the restaurant personally to see if I can reach the owners. As a restaurant owner myself, I would certainly want to know if my managers acted like this and I hope those who review this think twice about spending money here. Plenty of wonderful places to eat in this town and granted I could tell the employees have been very embarrassed and told me this kinda behavior is normal, they looked like they had been in fear which I may look into as well.

Must go. Excellent drinks, knowledgeable bartending. Food is of quality and delicious. Wings, Burgers and Shareables are good choices. If you've never had a Starburst Martini, ask for one here and prepare you taste buds for an experience.

Visited based on recommendations of friends. Server was nice but our service was very slow. I'm not sure if the kitchen and bar were to blame. Drink service was sporadic. Our salads were missing ingredients as well as the toast or croissant that was included according to the menu. My main was the grouper, but it was the thinnest filet of grouper I've ever had and was over-cooked. A steak knife would have helped. We were comped dessert for our troubles. FYI: A mandatory 18% service fee will be applied to all patrons. I'm not sure how that gets divided up amongst waitstaff and management.

Good food. Beautiful setting. Not the best presentation for the sandwich basket. The 2 slices of watermelon and cantaloupe were buried UNDER the fries. I didn't even know they were there. My wheat toast was burned at the top 1/3 on one side. I had to scrape it off before I ate.The pork plate had a much better presentation. The bumpin' house music wasn't very fitting.

Great little venue, very up and coming restaurant. Service was spot on, very busy but not ignored.

Service dog friendly. Amazing food. Plant based options. Summer our server was AWESOME to the point we won't go back unless we call first and she's working. We will be back.

Absolutely loved the food ,atmosphere and decor. Great service we sat at the bar and had excellent service. Great menu food and drinks. I had the beet salad it was excellent I still am thinking about how good it was. I also had the fries on the side Yumm. The burger was excellent as well. Definitely going back !! 100% in every way
