Electric Lime was absolutely electric! Service was top notch to start. Very friendly, nice and made a conscious effort to check in with us. The cocktail menu was tequila focused and had great options from Anejo, Reposado, Blanco and Mezcal, great margarita fusions. The menu is priced just right and your serving sizes are typically more than enough to make lunch out of the next day, especially for bowls. Whether you're getting tacos, burrito or a bowl they have a variety of options from traditional Mexican meats to vegetarian provisions. Even a fried avocado option (trickin')! Would highly recommend going to Electric Lime. Wish we had an opportunity to sit outside. It doesn't appear that they take reservations ahead of time but we didn't have to wait for 5. Definitely excited to go back!
The drinks were amazing & the ceviche was exceptional! I was slightly disappointed in the tacos (long thick strips of meat that were hard to bite apart) I ordered and the rice was a little too salty but overall the food was mostly tasty. The restaurant itself was chic with aesthetic vibes and I loved the servers uniforms!
Staff were friendly and professional. The ambiance was cute. However, coming from a Mexican who lives in Chicago and travels regularly, these were some of the worst tacos I’ve had. The tacos were dry and chewy. The street corn was delicious though.Edit: There was no issue with the tortillas. The issue was the meat. There was no sear on the asada and the meat was dry. The Al pastor pork was also dry.
Best Mexican joint in Milwaukee. Hip. Clean. There's a night club on top of the main dining area. Our sever Olivia was excellent. She took great care of us and helped us customize our orders. I think it's best for young and trendy foodies but anyone can enjoy. Watch out for the salsa. It's spicy.
Steak and chicken tacos were amazing! Pork was not the best.Margaritas were great but small size.Very fun atmosphere; loud decorations, but quiet and cozy.
Some of the most inventive and flavorful food. Every drink, dish was amazing. Excellent service and great ambiance. If you haven’t been, you need to go.
I went to Electric Lime for their taco Tuesday and it was pretty busy. The atmosphere is super cute and aesthetic, but tough to find a spot for a large group.Honestly I was not super impressed by any of their food/drinks. The drinks were pretty expensive and just tasted super sweet - not much else. The tacos were dry and underwhelming, but since they were only $2/each I didn’t have too high of hopes. The staff was definitely friendly and helpful! I think I will go back sometime in the future to give it another chance since so many other people had great experiences - maybe it was an off day!
Entering at peek hours, with a full crowd, the staff was warm and welcoming. We were able to cozy five of us around the bar. Kenadee was quick with menus and water refills, as well as drink suggestions. The guacamole was fresh and the hottest of the salsa actually had some great burn. As we were seated in the front booth and our party grew to twelve, Joey was patient and quick with drinks. It is hard to go wrong with anything on the menu; all of us were pleased with our tacos and meal selection!
I started going to when they first opened and I have been in love since! This place is such a unique vibe, you can see the difference as soon as you walk in. All of the staff members are so kind and attentive. we love a well-ran, family owned business! I would recommend trying the elote, best in the city. Also half off frozen margs on Thursdays!
Love this place! Great vibe and great food!
