So usually I get my subs from his location since they're are usually on point, however, not sure what happened here. Ordered online no problem, went in and patiently waited for a staff member. Was waited on and then an older lady comes from the prep area , looks at me, says something slick( it's bulletproof glass not sound proof) to her for worker who just shakes her head. Whatever , okay. Get food ( which was at least ready). Get home and took one bite and spit it out!!!! No extra mayo!!! A mound of minced onion ( not the kind they usually have nor did I order extra) and about 5 pounds of oregano later. Either retrain on the proper way to make a substantial or find people that kniwnhow!
I got a cheese steak. It was good. The only thing I didn't like was the steep driveway coming out of the driveway on Villard.
No longer have mushrooms for cheesesteaks? gotta find a new sandwich spot now
Don't order delivery if you actually want fresh food, doordash will mess you up if you want your food in less than an hour.This store is great and the Workers are the reason. I've always been happy with the food I've ordered here.Just do drive thru or take out cuz doordash is bogus.
This specific cousins may have the worst customer service out of all the cousins in the city. The night staff is lazy and incompetent. I just had an issue and this isn't the 1st time either. Tonight, I arrived at the drive thru speaker at exactly 930pm (mind you they close at 10pm) and I ordered a sub combo. I wanted cheese bread but I was informed there was none left so hey I'm not tripping cuz i know its the end of the night...I then say I want a large fry and they have the nerve to tell me their fryer is off so I can't get fries only chips. I was genuinely disappointed at how incompetent and silly they would have to be to turn the fryer off a full 30 minutes before closing time just so they can leave right at 10pm or 1005pm. I wanted to argue with them and ask the 2 silly women who were there, 1 was the manager 1 was the cashier/drive thru person...How hard is your job? I said u know what they bums for how lazy they are. Then I noticed I had enough time to go to the other cousins on the upper northwest side on Appleton Ave in time before 10pm which was their closing time too. So I left drove there on this snowy night and got exactly what I wanted from that location with no problems. Thanks Appleton Cousins.
Man I ordered a turkey sub and that was horrible the meat felt all slimy like they got it out of a pack
Ordered Online... The crew member at the window was great but we opened our sandwiches and everything was wrong except the meats. Each one had the items for one sandwich on the other sandwiches. We ordered (3)doublemeat sandwiches and Yasss this was a fat day for us lol. But order was incorrect. We did not live anywhere near here so we traveled here so we most definitely to schedule it. They offered to make them over but we did not have time. Bad experience. $38+ dollars down the drain.
It depends on which restaurant you visit. Every sandwich maker aren't the same. Their not all good at the sandwich making craft. The sandwiches are shorter too. Cousins combos are over priced and you use to much salt on the french fries.
My cousin got a sandwich from this location and she had a great experience with them. Food was made fast and tasted great. It was around 8pm yesterday and we had to go through the the drive-thru. The person who took her order said they don't do 2 separate orders. That was the only bad thing we had there last night.
Food great, service could be more attentive and prompt.
